Personally, i don't think you're giving up enough for nurse,
and Detroit doesn't have the cap space to take on Fowler

Shakeup
Edmonton says no but Chiarelli says yes, Detroit takes that deal and puts you on speed dial and Vancouver probably is celebrating since you made Benning look smart.

Draft/ Off-Season Pt. 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mytduxfan</b></div><div>More horrendous trades. Rick Nash @ 3M... LMFAO!!! He's going to want way more than that. Think like 6-8M per. Montour, Kase and Ritchie are all massively overpaid. The FLA deal is beyond a joke and the team looks a complete mess. Nash playing with Kesler on our shutdown line? Wtf? Kase demoted to the 4th line? Why? And to top it off we have 3rd D-pairing of an AHLer and a borderline NHLer. Just stop.</div></div>
fact of the matter is, I'm still having fun with this okay like the trading for youth one I did I did it for shits and giggles why? because I'm allowed to have fun with this, I don't care if I post so much that nobody looks at it or if I post so little that I get maximum criticism okay, yeah I've gotten a lot of criticism but you're the only one who's taken it so personally that you have to tell me to stop, if you don't like it then don't look at it! I don't care just don't go on and make me feel like an idiot alright! I'm still trying to figure out what people will accept as a good trade

Trades with OTT, VAN, TB
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Magnus47</b></div><div>I don't think the Ducks are the right team to deal for Karlsson, and while that's a great haul for EK, I don't think it has quite the high end (potential elite) aspect that needs to be there. Not sure why waiver wire pick up JT Brown belongs in there. Montour's upside is a top 4 (non-elite) offensive specialist. Jones' ceiling is probably in the mold of a more physical Krieder, but the safe bet is a middle-six complimentary winger. The Ducks 1st and 2nd will be later round picks in this scenario, so there's not huge appeal there. I just don't think EK works without Anaheim being willing to give up better value from it's current roster and prospect pool (I'm thinking one of Rakell <em>or</em> Lindholm + Sam Steel + 1st +...).
Not sure why the Ducks move Vermette if they are going for it this big. Doesn't make sense to me.
Hutton/Vanek is cool, not sure if that's enough of a package though unless the 'Nucks are blinded by desire to unite the Megna brothers :P</div></div>
Brown and Vermette was traded away to make the money work. Respecting the feedback, though.

Nash
As much as I like the deal, Rangers would need to retain some salary here. If they do that, the ducks would be able to add a D man to the mix at the deadline as well. I would love for them to get Jordie Benn to help on the left side. And we wouldnt have to hunt for Beauch replacement at the end of the year. Unless Larsson is that guy.

Hjalmarsson
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mytduxfan</b></div><div>It's "Welinski" and yes he does have a future in the NHL. I think the offer needs more, but, at the same time, if Hjalmarsson is worth sooooo much why did ARI get him for Connor Murphy and Laurent Dauphin, a borderline NHLer and a career AHLer? I'd add Roy to the package to get the deal done. Both Welinski and Roy are enticing pieces and the 3rd makes up the value. I think it's a strong offer. ARI only brought Hjalmarsson in because they wanted to have a strong season in an attempt to convince OEL to sign with them (OEL is bored with the continual rebuild), but, given how bad this season has gone for them, I can't see them making that work. I'd be surprised if OEL isn't gone by next season and replaced by Dahlin + whatever they can get for OEL. Therefore, that makes keeping Hjalmarsson redundant. ARI is building for the future, they have no use for a 31 year old D-man in Hjalmarsson and the Ducks will be irrelevant by the time they're looking to contend because of the decline of Getzlaf. Moreover, it's not like they'll be tailoring offers from across the NHL on account of Hjalmarsson's limited NTC.
Exactly!</div></div>
What decline of Getzlaf? His two seasons have looked incredible, he's going to pull the Joe Thornton.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>leaf4thecup</b></div><div>yah Ritchie has been playing since he was 19, but Ritchie's career high in points is 28 (14 goals, 14 assists) where connor brown scored 36 points on his first season (20 goals 16 assists)</div></div>
Like word-for-word, I saw this response coming from a mile away. Congratulations on Brown putting up 36 pts at the age of 23. Ritchie hasn't even turned 23. Maybe wait until next season before you start using too many of these '>' bad boys. Regardless, Brown's numbers are down this season. That's not good at all. I'd steer clear of him personally. And before you say it, yes! Ritchie's numbers are also down, but we've lost the most man games to injury this season. Ritchie went from playing with Getzlaf and Perry to Vermette and who ever RC could find in San Diego. What's Brown's excuse?
