Oh and here is the data to show what kind of player that you are talking about as a "3rd line center" if you look at primary point production, he is one of the highest in the league and plays the shutdown role too

So yes you arent getting a teams best winger prospect for a 40 point 3rd line C
And and your claims of a good defensive 200 foot Center....Hayes gets crushed in every shot based defensive metric that you can track. So claiming he is a 2C and good 200 foot player doesnt mean its true</div></div>
Ok well clearly talking to the expert... what statistics are you even talking about... and that's also why he becomes the 2nd line center on this team... not a 2nd line center though right....

3-way trade with NYR and CHI
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BurgerBoss</b></div><div>Juulsen alone is worth a late first imo.</div></div>
Well considering that hayes would then become the habs most complete forward, why are the rangers then giving the habs a 2nd rounder on top of that? If your argument is about dumping belesky... we woul just keep him, no need for cap relief. Juulsen is a good prospect but completely unproven. He could never play a single game in the nhl. Hayes is a proven 2nd line center with 1st line upside, is a complete 200 ft player and is still young.

Yep pretty much, that's the cost of doing business... hayes is a 2 way center, playing in all facets of the game and still puts up between 40 to 50 pts. A few years ago, stepan was traded to the yotes for the 7th overall pick... very similar situation...

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>coga16</b></div><div>haha keep dreaming if you think Hayes gets you a recent 16th overall pick</div></div>
Really... you think that the value of an established 2nd line center who puts up 40 to 50 pts a year, and plays the 200 ft game isn't worth that then I guess you dont know what your talking about... hayes is worth at least a 1st, 2nd, and a B level prospect. Look at all the trades that happened recently and the value that was involved in the return... oh and hayes is still young with more upside....

Definitely some pretty bad contracts over his tenure, but on the other hand, there were some good draft options that came from this time frame as well. Wonder who will replace him as president??

Rangers say no, if they were going to be parting ways with hayes, the demand would be Martin kaut to start.

Trading PK??? Your thoughts
I dont think that you got a good enough return to be honest. I like AA and think that he is a good bottom 6 guy and svechnikov seems like he has a high chance of not planning out. Obviously th picks are really nice but I think if your going to trade subban to the wings it should be something like a 1st, a 2nd, and a really high end prospect. Or maybe like zadina and a 1st.

Trouba
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jangle29</b></div><div>I'll break this down.
1. Winnipeg basically has to trade Trouba now. If you had a clue you would know this. He signed a 1 year deal and is one year from UFA and they will lose him for nothing. He clearly wants out of there. He will be traded this year.
2. Toronto has absolutely ZERO cap crunch problem. If you actually spent 5 minutes and looked at any potential roster you would know this, but again I assume you have no clue.
3. That Vegas place seems to know a thing or two about betting and they have Toronto as high favorites to win a cup. While that is no guarantee, I am happy to see you disagree because if you continue to be wrong about exactly 100% of what you have said on this website, they may have a shot at it.
Also for someone being a Ranger fan I am guessing, you sure should not be chirping anyone. Your team is in for a good 3-4 years of hot garbage.
Goodbye son</div></div>
Haha we will see... again have fun with those signings in toronto....

Yea... hes only an extremely defensively responsible center, who can kill penalties, play anywhere in the lineup and is good for 40 to 50 points on what will more than likely be a very good cost controlled cap hit for the next 5 seasons, but yea definitely the LAST thing you need for a deep playoff run...

Believe me when I say that I love the idea of getting back cal Foote from the lightning to take on Callahan... we just have so many dman prospects, I would rather get raddysh back as he is a winger that we desperately need in our prospect system. The good thing though is that if we do get Foote back he at least plays the right side... love the trade though

Do you actually believe that the lightning would GET something back from trading Callahan and his terrible contract... lol the lightning would have to give up assets to move his contract. The lightning, in order to move Callahan, would have to give up a prospect and a pick.

Working on the most fair karlsson trade
Cannot trade Tampas 2019 first as it belongs to the rangers if the lightning win. Other than that I think the trades are ok... maybe giving a little bit too much to the sens in the Karlsson trade, I think if you just took all of the picks out of that trade and gave the sens the 2020 2nd I think it's fair value

Ughhh... karlson is an amazing dman dont get me wrong but is likely going to be getting paid 11M per year and has had problems with injury. Draisaitl is on a steady cap controlled contract and would be the sens number 1 center for the next decade and a half. I think this trade is fair for sure. Everyone over values Karlsson but in the situation that the sens are in, they would be lucky to get this. They could just not trade him and get NOTHING back like the isles with tavares.

For this return, I'd just play the season out with Karlsson and hope to be as good as you can be, and not let the pick given to COL be in the top 5. A TBL trade probably starts with Sergachev or Foote AND a guy like Raddysh or Cirelli. Plus a 2019 1st, not a 2020 1st. I think that would look much more realistic.</div></div>
Can't be a 2019 1st because that belongs to the rangers if tampa wins...

Check the facts bro hayes is an amazing 2 way center who has put up 50 pts and is capable of more who will get a good cost controlled contract Myers is a rental essentially as he will become a ufa
