Lots of trades to Help REBUILD!!
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jfstompers</b></div><div>really bellows for one year of a very average goalie they laugh at that.</div></div>
What if we take bellows out and add a 3rdd or 2nd round pick? I like bellows so I'd like to see him come to my team

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>johnnyu22</b></div><div>Jets would never jump for that trade - just a bunch of cap and Nyquist, who is the only appealing player coming from the wings in that trade.
Carolina would 100% take that trade - you are giving up way too much for skinner (Svech probably has a higher ceiling)
Toronto wouldn't take that cap dump.</div></div>
Its not so much a cap dump for Toronto, they get two players Babock knows and likes and that could helped them during their playoff run. And only for some mid-ish round picks which won't mean anything if they win the cup. Plus all these players won't hurt them next year when they have to resign everyone.
Trouba I agree we would have to add a better prospect or draft pick but don't forget he doesn't wanna be in winnipeg!! so why not get the guy brought home somehow.
Skinner is sick enough said. I would take any of those options for him if he would come to detroit.

3rd party - Why the Rangers are needed.
Callahan is not worth that pick at all, that second could even be a first so NYR value it high, plus I bet NYR aren't on his list either.
I like the Ottawa trade, I think TBL would try and send some CAP to them as well though

Hoping for Ottawa-3way with TBL & NYR
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xspyrit</b></div><div>Ok but Gourde and Johnson are not cap dumps. Callahan is.
Instead make it Callahan + Johnson for two 2nds.
But mootpoint anyway because the Rangers are rebuilding and won't give up young assets. So it would be taking Callahan for picks/prospects.</div></div>
NYR won't take Callahan back and I'm sure he won't go there. Him going to Ottawa is a stretch... But I think he has to be moved in order for this trade to work.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xspyrit</b></div><div>1) Ceci's QO is $3,350,000 so he won't take less than that. And you have him play on his off-side in your line-up...
2) No way so many pieces would be involved in a TB-OTT deal... It would take me too many minutes to evaluate properly so I don't even know looking who it does advantage the most, but with that number of high picks, it looks to be favoring Ottawa...
3) Yikes that deal with NYR... a 1st, Gourde, Johnson for Spooner and two 2nds? Why does Ottawa give the 3rd best pieces? One of the most lopsided proposals I have ever seen.
4) Gustavsson won't be rushed in the NHL. He's 19 and will probably play a part of next season in the ECHL...</div></div>
Sure give Ceci whatever as long as Melnyk will pay.
And it was difficult to show a 3-way deal here that's why the trades look so off

Tampa will not have the CAP to sign either next year..

Detroit TSN turning point
I am just wishing on those draft picks. I believe Detroit should invest in some more upper level talented drafts picks rather than going for quantity. At least in this draft class. And Nielsen was definitely a **** signing, a contract that should be shopped around some what.
