Bruins 2023-2024 ides
They could probably get more for Swayman, but I think if they trade a goalie it will be Ullmark. Swayman is only 24 and has shown that he can be a starter in the NHL. If Swayman ends up getting $3.5+AAV, I could see Ullmark being gone and it'll be Swayman/Bussi.
You also haven't signed Frederic, who is looking like a 20 goal scorer right now and will be getting a bridge $2-$2.5AAV contract.
Nosek does not come back for that little, I could see the 4C spot going to Beecher or McLaughlin.
I would also rather get rid of Grz than Forbort, we have 2 legit 1D who can move the puck very well and while Grz is good at what he does, I would like to get back some picks and maybe a B- prospect for him.
I think you're also looking at trading one of Coyle or Hall to fit in Frederic and give realistic money to FA's, and that also allows you to maybe have both Swayman and Ullmark for another year. Most likely Hall because the C depth on this team is not great.

Rather SJ gets Muk than Casey for a RD prospect. Not sure if Casey's small size will translate well into the NHL

At least when Wedgewall was acquired to replace Holtby he did admirably well.
I trust he's able to play around 30 games a year with solid performance.

Mailloux is playing well in the ohl, but I think the gm will wanna get rid of him,

San Jose Realistic Hopeful Moves To Be Competitive
Honestly think it’s a little overpay for Zacha. Seems like a fairly lateral move from labanc to Zacha other than Zacha could potentially play center.

I think the PA will litigate but wont win. Is there maybe some criminal exposure for Kane in Canada for crossing the border as covid positive? i'm sure he has to make an immigration statement that he did not have covid to enter canada. Making an illegal declaration at immigration I am sure is a crime.

Updated Sharks Prospect Pyramid
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rob32sjsharks</b></div><div>With Coe you could very well be right.
he is big at 6'4" but he is still fast and puck handles like the smaller guys (puck handles in close to the body so he isn't pick pocketed) has a good shot and plays smart on both ends of the rink.
last year at 18/19 playing in the AHL he didn't look out of place and was playing stronger as the season went on. this year at 19/20 is completely dominating the OHL and it isn't even close.
I've watched a decent amount of film and he looks like a legit top 6 but might end up as a middle 6 guy so you are not wrong in your assessment.
Scouts before the draft all raved about his intangibles but wondered if he could ever put them together to reach his potential. lots of scouts said he could end up being the steal of the draft and to me I feel his work in the OHL will translate through to the NHL as long as he doesn't lose his confidence!
Funny thing about the 2020 draft we got 3 players scouts all said could end up steels.
Robins who was drafted in the 3rd cause he was only 5'7" then grew 3" last year
Bordeleau who should have been our pick at 31 but we got lucky enough to get him in the 2nd and
Coe in the 4th.</div></div>
Robins was drafted in the 2nd Round, Gushchin was our 3rd that year.

DeBrusk for Hertl
The sharks want prospects and picks for Hertl, not a pending RFA with arbitration rights. The 1st is likely to be a later first and same with the 3rd from Calgary. On top of that the sharks are giving a pick and retaining half of Hertl’s salary. The sharks are asking for a 1st and top prospect for Hertl without retention. Their top needs are C and RD prospects which Boston doesn’t have. The only prospect that is interesting is Lysell who everyone says is “untouchable”. There just isn’t really a fit for the sharks who don’t need more wingers. I get it’s an easy way for Boston to move on from a guy who wants out but send him somewhere else because we don’t want/need him.

can’t argue that, but if we’re close and need some offense to get over the hump and into the playoffs Toffoli would be valuable to us for 4-5 years. and if we’re not going for the playoffs Hertl Burns Bonino Cogliano Kane and simek all should be dealt for as much as we can get and retention on every deal to make us more if possible.

Isn’t that a reason to be a buyer? Wild are top of their division, are they not going to try and stay there?

Well I think your price for Hertl, a rental, is a bit high. I see you retaining, but Wild don't need retention if they are sending Fiala and with the built up cap space at the deadline i think Wild could still fit Hertl in. Most i see Guerin offering is Fiala for Hertl straight up or as was mentioned Khusnutdinov plus a 1st for Hertl. Now if Hertl were to have term this is a different conversation.
