It's already pretty brutal to watch but agree once they ship off Meier we're going to tune in to watch EK get frustrated with everyone on the team not finishing his amazing setups or deflection shots. If one gets traded Grier needs to find a way to trade the other!

Probably need to lower my expectations but with this amount of retention one of Broberg or Bouchard need to be added. SJ needs a high end D prospect coming back. Bourgault piece is good. Yamamoto is alright but like Puj would mostly be there for cap. Barrie is good and can be flipped for assets, but again mainly there to make the cap work

Would love to see Crookshank get a shot too; I'd say he's the most NHL-ready in Bellville. would say move holden for a late pick to a team like Boston. Dont expect to see Kleven in the NHL this year but would be fun to have his playstyle to replace Watson

I still think Balcers would be better than Lindblom and/or Gregor/Sturm but not a big deal in the end.
I'm sure Panthers will be happy</div></div>
Sturm is a C and brings good size and grit to the lineup. Gregor has better speed and puck handling and has a lot more upside, and to be honest I think his play in the last half of last year is the reason they moved on from him. Lindblom is finally healthy but i’m not sure and no one is really sure if he is capable of top 6 play and production, however with the sharks not being a playoff team, if he plays well will net us a solid return at the TDL.
and as for next year and beyond… with Couture, Bordeleau, and Eklund able to play LW/C and Gushin looking like a top 6 LW to go along with Gregor and the top line of Hertl & Meier and a few more Depth guys like Raska Lorentz and Weatherby the sharks have more players to fill out the left side and C next year than they have spots for, and that’s what I think made him expendable.

Re-tool. but it’s been 3 years since they made the playoffs and without an insane turnaround looks like another 2 years to me that’s a rebuild

Yeah, I think you'd have to do the work on Brown though (or at least you should). The "Flip 'em after we give him to you" scenario is pretttttty rare.

Dorion has surprised with a couple of solid moves so far, but I just don't think that's what gets it done for Arizona (It shouldn't at least).
If we look at it as if Jarventi is good enough to dump Zaitsev (He isn't, but let's just roll with that), I don't see how a package of 1 year of Brown to a team that's a long way off, plus Branny+1st do it.</div></div>

Brown on a rental at 2m would be extremely appealing to a lot of contenders. Add in the fact that Vegas is always fighting for cap space, Marchesssault might not cost as much as he would in a vacuum.</div></div>
I like a lot of what you did here. The price for Marchessault is going to be an interesting one moving forward. and even though Brown is a huge player to move for only 2 years of Marchy honestly. IF the sens move brown i would hope for a player that gets a few more years out of as the other younger player matures. However, he could really help jump Stuzlte into the next level.
I like the optimism that Greig can jump right into a top 6 role. I think he ends up there but likely needs at least half a season in the Ahl first.
IF the Formenton, Norris, and Jospeh contracts come out as you listed (with some more term for Formeton and Jospeh) I would be so happy, as well that the bottom 6 is amazing. I have mentioned a few times on here that if the Sens can get a third line of Formenton - Pinto-Joseph for a good chunk of the season they would likely rack up some good secondary scoring points with the speed and line matchups they would get.

2022 1st round pick (OTT) --> 7th OA pick
Thomson, Lassi --> 19th OA pick from 2019, his stock went down drastically the first 2 years but then went back up to draft status last season
Järventie, Roby --> 33rd OA pick from 2020, his stock improved since the draft, worth a late 1st at least
Boucher, Tyler --> 10th OA pick from last draft, was taken too high but still have late 1st value (where he should have been picked)
Brännström, Erik --> was still worth a 1st not that long ago. Maybe not anymore but still valuable. 27 pts in his last 83 GP as a 21-22 y/o D-man developing in the NHL
2022 2nd round pick (TBL) --> late 2nd but another chance to get a good prospect
Murray, Matt ($2,500,000 retained) : with retention, Murray's salary is not too bad. He is good when healthy which unfortunately is 50% of the time at best. But still a goalie a team like Arizona could use
Zaitsev, Nikita : cap dump but still could be useful for Arizona for 2 seasons
7th OA pick + THREE 1sts + TWO 2nds + half a goalie + stop gap D-man
But I think the Yotes would push to turn 2 of Thomson, Jarventie or Boucher into ONE better quality piece.
Still worth it for Ottawa as it would result in a great top-9 and great top-4
Keller - Stutzle - Batherson
Tkachuk - Norris - Joseph
Formenton - Pinto - Brown
Chabot - Chychrun
Sanderson - Zub</div></div>

Le septième selection et un prospect pour Fiala, c'est plus que suffisant. Peut-être JBD au lieu de Jarventie.
