Actually imo they could use a vet Center I’d like the trade to be Helle and Scheifele instead. Demelo would be nice but we have 1000 defenseman now lol

I wonder if Sabres would want more term with Power. But I guess it would be smart to go the Same route they did with Dahlin. A bridge deal then you give him the big money. Brett Pesce to me is more of a pipe dream than anything I ultimately think he stays in Carolina. Saros is the same thing I think he’d be great and I actually think he’d be a better idea than Hellebyuck with him having 2 years left but unless he asked for a trade I don’t see him leaving Nashville.

Yeah I’d say Parayko would be better but again contract is a huge negative for me on him. Sabres really need 1-2 more defensive defenseman preferably a RHD that is good enough to play top 4 minutes and can play on the top line bc of injury.

My thing with Parayko is he has 7 years left on his deal. He’s 30 already. No thanks. Sabres have to sign Dahlin and Power. Not to mention what if Quinn and Peterka have breakout seasons? There’s only so much money to go around and I’m not interested in paying 6.5 mil to a 30 year old for 7 seasons

They aren’t going to try to bury Peterka and a Quinn to sign Kane. Also Kane wouldn’t come here he wants to win another cup and no team is signing him to that contract. He also has a hip issue. Helebyuck wants to go to a contender so I doubt he’d accept a trade to here even though I would love it if he did. Also this proves you people don’t listen to what Adams says. He’s said 1,000 times he’s not going to make moves to block young players from making this roster. Signing two forwards will def do that so I don’t see him signing more than maybe 1 forward but it’s going to be more of a defensive forward bc that’s what they’re missing. Bertuzzi isn’t that and neither is Kane. I could see them going after Accari or maybe Compher if the deal is right. But that about it. I think their targets this offseason are Goalie and a partner for Power. Severson does that but I’m not sure he’d come here. I think they are probably going to have to make a trade for that.

I don’t see the Sabres doing that simply bc of the fact that we need to sign both Dahlin and Power to long term deals after next season. Parayko is good but his term is way too long and too much money for what we’re looking for

I think that’s too much in the Winnipeg trade. Take out Savoie add Outland or Rosen. Even still that’s a lot for a 4th liner and a rental goalie. Calgary trade I like. Mitts was good this season imo they should sell high on him with the amount of offensive prospects they have coming
