Yikes!
I like the Kuemper idea, but it’s likely wishful thinking
And people really gotta give up on the Kane fascination</div></div>
I don't disagree with you, I just feel we will have to overpay everyone to come here with our drought.
Agreed on Darcy.
If he's available its worth it.

Pending UFA, hometown dream. I understand he is still good, but its 10.5M off your ORG's books with rebuilding years ahead to create financial surpluses. You'll lose him for nothing and need bodies, plus Casey is a decent young player and Portillo is a top 5 NCAA goalie, and you have none.
Fair points though.

Samuelsson isn't moving, he is the player we need on D. Giving up a 1st in a loaded draft is just plain senseless.</div></div>
I like Samuelsson but the drafting of Ryan Johnson, with Laaksonen, Bryson, Fitzgerald, Borgen, etc makes him extremely expendable.
Plus you'd hope one day Samuelsson becomes good, versus Lindholm being good right now. I think the defense would be absolutely stacked with Lindholm and we can move some other prospects in the deal to move less total prospects around.
Perhaps Risto and a small plus can be swapped for Lindholm, or we include a prospect like Samuelsson/ another pick or prospect with Scandella. Ducks seem to be rebuilding.

Honestly one of the more realistic ones made.
Some things probably are a little farfetched but its an original proposal.

Tampa pukes all over that offer. McDonagh has a NTC...Swap JT Miller in and maybe they consider it, but that might be too much to give to help them save cap room.
Too much for Puljujarvi and Vesey...I'd want Kreider for that.
Unfortunately Duchene is getting at least $9.5 now.
McCabe ERod and Ullmark are all getting more than the qualifying offer.
Still need three roster players and Pilut is out for at least the first month.
Sobotka is a buyout</div></div>
You think Marco Scandella and the very last pick in the first round gets you Kreider?
Sorry but it doesn't, BUT I would throw a bit more to get him if that's the case.
Agreed on Miller because Tampa can't lose Sergy/McD/Stralman in 1 offseason.
Bogo is a candidate to miss some time too.

That's the point, Tampa needs serious cap space and Buffalo helps clear them of a bad contract and pays Buffalo for the help.
Many teams pawn off good assets to move bad contracts. Cally is > anything we had in our bottom 6 too.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bigcheecho</b></div><div>That trade is an easy no from Vegas. Ristolainen is good, yes, but another solid defenseman, a top-6 forward, a 2nd rd. pick, and a movement down the 1st round is an insane overpayment for a player we don't even really need considering Theo, Schmidt, and our deep defensive prospect pool.</div></div>
I agree but disagree, if you don't save money you're easily losing Karlsson. I agree its a bit much but would you rather lost Karlsson or lose Haula up front?

Just some ideas
I like this, in terms of its absolutely realistic.
I would as a fan want us to do more and I think that 2C role is primed for a bigger signing. Sam could very well be the 2C, but I'd like to see more.
Plus Victor needs to be with Jack, I think that line would be scary as hell.

Reinhart and the 7th overall for Couts? That's farfetched.
I agree that the offer is underwhelming but Sam Reinhart's contract this season is a steal and won't be that expensive in the future. Couts like Sam took a bit to get going and Sam's development ( in terms of production at least) is on a higher trend upwards than Couts. Then add the 7th and the value completely over sways to Philly.

You could be absolutely correct. There’s leeway on both sides (remove/add a pick/player) it’s just initial proposals. I just feel like Okposo going back home is what’s best and we are limited with his MNTC.
Okposo/Nylander/Nelson/1st/6th for Zucker seems pretty close. Okposo has outproduced Zucker the last 5 seasons combined but Okposo was bad this last year (with limited help)
Expansion draft always a factor as well.

I could add more to the Zucker trade/take off a pick from their side. I’m hoping Nylander/Nelson/1st is enough to want them to do the move. They have loads of young talent there and Vegas is a staple
For what fresh starts can do for players. (Okposo in this case)

Thanks for the feedback, I honestly just think Sobotka will sign back to the KHL, I just can’t find a way to do it on the site.
