    Would have to imagine an offersheet would need to be much better than that to get both point to sign and Tampa to decline matching.

    Oh gee let me see, Cold snowy Buffalo, New York or warm sunny Tampa, Florida. Yeah i think Point takes less to stay with the Lightning.

    If this happened, I’d like to see Risto moved for a first round pick next year, and McCabe moved for a few 2nds. Something to re-coup assets and clear salary.

    Make it 7x12.5. Tell Point hey, we’ll make you tied for the highest paid player in the league if you take a 7 year deal.

    If you going to give up four first, might as well offer seven years. 10.6m probably get Point anyway, just thinking Point would sign for less with Tampa.
