Signing of Anders Lee is a bad investment, guys like him are slowing down quickly and his contract will be bad in a couple of years.

Cozens makes the team
Let's see how he will show himself in the summer camp and he certainly needs to gain more mass, I like that he is universal and I think he could play on the right wing with Jack and Skinner, it would be similar to the chemistry of Kreider and Jack at the World Championships.

Thread:
why so negative about cozens
There are people who are always unhappy, although some fans of Buffalo can be understood, the team hasn’t been in the playoffs for a long time and the negative is constantly in the air. I think this is one of the best choices you could take. I liked Zegras a bit more, but after him I would take Cozens, this guy is one of the safest choices, he has the size and sand, which Buffalo really lacks, of course we could take Caufield to be our sniper, but that’s pretty big risk, the more we now have Skinner and Olofsson. Cozens has great skating, his IQ is not as low as some say about him, he has a good shot, he is a decent playmaker, he is universal, he can be our Chris Kreider or Evander Kane on the wing, and I think this is his minimum, he can also be a great center in the style of Jeff Carter or Sean Monahan.

Its not a good sign when Button and McKenzie describe him as lacking skill. So please do not tell me I dont understand or havent seen him play.
edit: And go read Girgensons scouting report. Its on par with Cozens.</div></div>
I don't need to read this, I know who Cozens is. And many scouts put him in 3-5 place, Button and McKenzie also wrong. At least this guy will be our Kreider or Evander Kane on the wing, but his ceiling is clearly higher, he can also be a great center for 70+ points.

A lot of forward talent at 31 and Botts takes another LHD
I like the choice of Cozens, but I don’t understand at all why take another LHD? Kaliyev, Lavoie, Brink or Hoglander would be much more interesting and necessary.

This is a great choice, people just don’t really understand or have not seen many of his games, this is not Girgensons or Thompson 2.0, this guy will be in our top 6 for many years.

Vesey for Nylander rumor
The rumor was not so, it was said that Buffalo was still interested in Vesey, and that Buffalo could still trade in Nylander, but for not Vesey in general. Botterill would be an idiot if he traded Nylander for Vesey.

Overpayment from Buffalo, Asplund has a good prospect, Risto has a more deficient position than Ehlers, plus you add a late first.

Given last two seasons Wennberg, he definitely doesn’t cost much, much less Columbus doesn’t need Risto, they have Seth Jones and David Savard on the right side.

This is an interesting proposal, I like the prospect of Woo, but I'm not sure that Vancouver and Buffalo are good trading partners, our teams need to fill approximately the same positions.

I wish I knew how they derived their statistics.
Type in Brodin and see who this site thinks he compares with the best. TBH I was shocked so I sort of doubt the validity, I always thought Marco was under rated but this is to much.
Спасибо
Edit:
Let me add, that defender just may be Pilut. He played really well with Ristolainen and made Ristolainen better.</div></div>
I agree that this may be Pilut, but perhaps Risto will no longer be in our team in the near future. I like Pilut, but he is not yet Brodin and he is injured if we are ready to wait for Pilut to develop, then there are no questions, but I would be in a great mood if our defense on the left side would have looked like that.
Dahlin
Brodin
Pilut

No wonder why you are disagreeing with me you completely misunderstood my position.</div></div>
Difficulties of translation, you have not forgotten how I communicate? :) I think you already understand who I am. :)
I think we really need just such a defender as Brodin in the top 4 to protect Dahlin’s back in the second pair, I just really like Brodin.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMTD</b></div><div>As a Sabre fan, I would not trade McCabe and the Blues first for Brodin, while you think it is a good deal, then let's agree to disagree.
BTW, go here for a quick visual comparison of Brodin and Montour over the last 3 years. <a href="https://public.tableau.com/profile/christopher.turtoro#!/vizhome/2-yearA3ZPlayerComps/ComparisonDashboard" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">https://public.tableau.com/profile/christopher.turtoro#!/vizhome/2-yearA3ZPlayerComps/ComparisonDashboard</a>
I am sure you really like Brodin which is good to be loyal a player for your team.
Brodin scores more .29pt/gm v .24pt/gm over the last 3 years, McCabe hits more and blocks more shots. They obviously bring different talents to the ice, I like McCabe's you like Brodin's that is fine we like who we know.</div></div>
Now go here and compare their overall performance over the past three seasons, as you do on that site.
<a href="https://evolving-hockey.com/" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">https://evolving-hockey.com/</a>
Therefore, I repeat once again that for me Brodin is a better player than McCabe and I would have made this deal.

I disagree, any Minnesota fan will tell you that #31 will not give you Brodin, you obviously underestimate him and I do not think Montour is better than Brodin in terms of talent, they are just different defenders, Montour is more attacking and Brodin is more defensive.

With Trouba and Montour being traded for a first and a fringe player, why not Brodin for just a first. I think that may be the fairest deal.</div></div>
Well, there was not only the first one, Anaheim received a solid prospect in Guhle, and Winnipeg received Pionk and #20. We have #31 and McCabe. In principle, I am satisfied with the game McCabe and he would be an excellent defender for the third pair, but firstly it is not clear what money he will ask for extend, besides, he is unreliable in terms of injuries, he almost never plays a full season and always misses 20-30 matches. Therefore Brodin is a clear upgrade compared to McCabe.

I do not see how Brodin is worth a first more than McCabe, but I guess I do not understand hockey at all.</div></div>
Bad season, with all of Minnesota. For me, it is obvious that Brodin is better than McCabe and he would be able to take a place in the second pair behind Dahlin or play in a pair with Dahlin if Rasmus suddenly plays RHD.
