(OTT/DET) - DeBrincat for Kubalik, Sebrango, 2024 4th (DET), 2024 1st (DET)
I think it’s somewhat fair, but I think Detroit got more value overall. DeBrincat is a superstar player. All they had to give up for him was a first rounder, which is very likely going to be 20th or later overall. Then a top six forward, a forth rounder, and a mid end prospect. Not to mention the fact that DeBrincat is likely going to be willing to take slightly less money that he would for any other team, as well as him being a perfect fit for Detroit.

Bedards 2nd Linemate DeBrincat
I can understand, I was mainly thinking Cat to help Bedard when he gets to the NHL since they have similar strengths in their skating and shooting.

Thanks for the polite reply, most people here are like
“Horrible trade, what do you think your doing?”, stuff like that
That aside, yeah they could probably get him for a 2nd and decent prospect

Preds final sell of the deadline
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Windjammer</b></div><div>😆 why on earth would Winnipeg do something that silly.</div></div>
Defense has been something that has been a bit of an issue for Winnipeg/Atlanta in recent years. Barrie provides good offense, but plays defense. In return the preds get a former late first round selection, and a first round pick. They trade Dillion away for cap reasons, that’s why they trade Lambert. They get a few picks in return.

Thread:
(DET/MIN) - Sundqvist for 4th
Sundvquist is a good bottom 6 forward, however I have no idea what Detroit is doing.
I have always been someone to believe Yezrman has some sort of master plan for make the Wings unbeatable, and have believed that he is basically playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers, however here’s the thing now.
He passed up on Wallstedt, the best goalie prospect that doesn’t have the name Wolf, in favor of Cossa who hasn’t looked great in the AHL. He traded one of their best young defensemen, who is becoming RFA, not UFA. He hasn’t got the best value out of his players. I perfectly understand why they are selling, the East is stacked, however they are not getting enough for their assets, and are making questionable decisions in the draft as well. Yes they have had some bad luck as well, but there have been some bad decisions.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Windjammer</b></div><div>Easy no for Winnipeg. AX isn't worth anywhere close to a 1st.</div></div>
Ehh I sort of figured he could be sort of a new Buffaligyn type player, not the best offensively but is a major threat defensively. Maybe a 2nd and 3rd

(ARI/OTT) - Chychrun for 1st, 2nd, 2nd
Oh wow it actually happened? I’m genuinely surprised. I’m more surprised they didn’t get anything more for him. I expected at least a first and a grade B/A prospect or 2 firsts. Guess that’s what Arizona gets for waiting so long

(DET/VAN) - Hronek for 2023 1st and 2nd
I really like the idea of getting a potential top 10 pick in what is going to be a great entry draft, however why are we trading one of our best young defensemen?

This isn’t a good trade. O’reiley has been bad this year, and greenway is actually a big part of the wild’s offense. Giving that much up for someone who has very little points this season is a bad idea

I figured the 2 firsts would make up for it. Also anything more would basically be giving Arizona more value that Winnipeg. I’m not sure they want to give anything else up. Maybe Lambert but that’s all I can think of
