<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Florida_Man_Maroon</b></div><div>Honestly Mackinnon should be in here over McDavid. I don’t see a massive difference between the two and you also save 6 mil in cap with Mackinnon which allows you to improve the team in other areas. At least have Mackinnon over Drai</div></div>
not bad suggestion but McDavid still is just light years better than Mackinnon so that's what drove that. And tbh I think Draisaitl is better than Mackinnon. It would save 2.2 mil to go from Drai to Mack, but then where would that cash go? A 5th/6th D?

How a caps fan would fix CBJ
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JarmoK</b></div><div>And yes, I’d rather have a young goalie with NHL experience than a 29 year old that spent one year in the AHL. And would rather have the top Swiss goalie, and top Finnish goalie. Thanks for asking tho</div></div>
Francouz is two years removed from being the top KHL goalie and has proven he plays well on the NA rink. But hey, if you wanna dumpster dive in the standings, go for it

Yeah ride that .897 SV% and 2.95 GAA all the way to the playoffs? Yeah right...

How a caps fan would fix CBJ
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JarmoK</b></div><div>Why would CBJ need yet another goalie prospect? We already have 3 very highly regarded goalies in the system, as well as korpisalo. And they aren’t trading Boone</div></div>
Why? Really? Why? Do you think you should have any confidence that Korpi can take over a starting job and take you to the playoffs? Do you have confidence in Merzilkis going from a European rink (not even in a top league) and coming over to the NHL and playing well? Calling Francouz a propsect? What are you talking about? He's 29 and has proven he can play in the NA rink. So right now, you got no real goaltender. And if you think Boone Jenner is an adequate 2nd line center, then that's beyond me. Acting like Boone Jenner is some sort of untouchable is sorta ridiculous. If you think the way your team stands right now looks like a playoff team, then I couldn't disagree more.

Hard to say. It sounds like you probably think so. Look beyond his stats though. Look at how he plays then make your decision.

DEVILS FANS- What do you think
In my opinion, you're selling yourself short. You drop back 12 spots in the draft (and out of the first round at that) and all you get is a late second? To move up a few spots in the late first round normally costs a 3rd, so I think you're not getting nearly enough for how far back you are moving. But if you are asking if the Devils do that, I think they do.

Second Option Team without Kuzy
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>McMannis90</b></div><div>Hard "No" from Winnipeg. I don't see them Moving another 1st or Vasaleinen.</div></div>
They are desperate for another center and they barely lose a roster spot. Yes they lose trouba, but they gain another RD. The only roster spot they lose is Roslovic's.

not sure if they are good trade fits so would be hard for me to do that. I went through all the teams that would be a good fit for Kuzy and the caps and Sabres would be hard to make work.

Second Option Team without Kuzy
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>klondikebar</b></div><div>He was insane in last year’s playoffs tho, don’t trade him based on 7 games you didn’t like</div></div>
for sure i agree...you never want to be too overreactive just because of a small sample size. And that's probably good enough reason not to trade him. However, Kuzy in general does tend to be a little more patient and picky about when he chooses to get involved as opposed to a harder-nosed player.

Second Option Team without Kuzy
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>asauer1122</b></div><div>Just kidding, literally all are your posts. Why you trying to dump on of your top three players</div></div>
yeah it's definitely a good question. Personally, I didn't like the way Kuzy played in the playoffs. He was uninspired and uninvolved. During the season as well, he tended to be a passenger and I don't like that. He's incredibly talented for sure and incredible player in the leagye, but I just think the caps can get good value for him and get a player that might have a little more edge and fight in them. I just personally value involvement in a player's game and I think that is not Kuzy's strong suit. If the caps move on from him at this point in his career, there is a good trade out there to be made. What's your perception of Kuzy, I'm always curious as to how other people view him
