Hahaha it's a bad deal either way you slice it. Not a fan of the Hayes deal at all. RNH will give them the actual center position help they need.

Not even close eh. Looks like my Trouba trade proposal was way better than what Winnipeg actually got from the Rangers. Wrong again DiehardRedWingsFan58

I like what I'm reading here. Winnipeg has some tough decisions to make. Hopefully Philly can pry him away.

Talbot has had two poor seasons in a row now. I'm not sure I want him on this team regardless of his friendship with Hart.

Your probably right, I know Winnipeg needs cap space and I've heard Trouba might want out of Winnipeg. I'm not sure what the market would be. Hagg is no slouch and comes with a good cap hit and is young. Rubtsov is a good player, just got injured. The 1st pick is 11th overall. But I did a rough estimate.

Trading a guy who had a career year offensively and is their best 2 way player by a mile just doesn’t make any sense.</div></div>
Trading Hall and Eberle didn't make any sense but it happened. And for way less of a return. Ghost is on a cap friendly contract which is a big part of that trade.

If only I offered Edmonton Ryan Spooner or Adam Larsson. Edmonton gets an offensive defenseman that helps with the team now. On a good contract to boot. O'Brien is a first round pick that played for USA at the world juniors. The trade isn't bad.

2019-2020 Season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>shmoeman</b></div><div>big no from Nash</div></div>
Wishful thinking on Josi, I know. But would be nice. My thought behind that is Nashville already has a lot of money tied up on D and have some prospects knocking on the door.
He's in the final year of his contract and will be looking for a big raise. I tried to match the Erik Karlsson trade a bit. Nashville only has 6 forwards and 4 defensemen signed for the 20-21 season with only 20 million in cap space. Maybe they look to move him or maybe he'll want out of Nashville. Would love him on this roster.
What do you think gets the trade done?

2019-2020 Season
Michigan native Ryan Miller is still pretty good and signed on to be a backup for 2 × 2,000,000. Only a year older than Howard at the time. The goalie market is strange, we'll see what happens. It was a tough call between Miller or Howard.

You must be a diehard red wings fan. Overvaluing your players. Howard will be 35 to start the season. Just wanted a veteran goalie on the team. Not a high demand for goalies lately. Because Howard is so great I'll go 2 x $2,600,000. I didn't know 4th line players were going for 2nd round picks. Maybe he's a 2nd line player on your dumpster fire. Just wanted a 4th liner to kill penalties. A 3rd pick and 4th pick isn't too far off from this 2nd round pick you speak of. Would you settle for two 3rd round picks?

I was just trying to move MacDonald anywhere. Switch the 3rd to a 6th, I don't care lol. Toronto will be losing a bunch of defensemen this off-season just figured they could use a vet who blocks shots. They're going to have to make some tough trades to free up cap and fill out their roster, so I think they'll have the 2.5 there for AMac

Thanks for your input. I guess it all depends how bad Edmonton wants Simmonds. Edmonton would be pretty dangerous. With the addition of Simmonds, Edmonton's 1st round pick will be a late one. Puljujarvi is still unproven so I'd imagine Philadelphia would want some insurance. Maybe Philadelphia adds something to sweeten the deal.
As for Giroux it was a tough call on whether or not to unload him. With that salary/term/age and his declining stats it'd be a tough sell for a team to take him on. I see Giroux as a mentor and PP specialist after a couple more seasons. Similar to what Danny Briere was.
