There was no lottery for Mario - and please tell me you don't actually believe they rigged the Crosby pick for the Pens haha

Treliving is the worst thing to happen to this franchise. None of his moves have worked out. He brought in Reaves, Klingberg, Edmundson, and Lyubushkin. He overpaid Nylander, Kampf, and Samsonov. He let Matthews have everything he wanted in contract negotiations. Luckily Shannahan made a couple good moves to bring in Domi, Bertuzzi, and Benoit but Treliving has been awful. He should be fired immediately

Of course Bonehead Brad would want to give Marner away for pennies (to a team that can’t even afford him), while keeping Edmundson, overpaying Roy, not acquiring another goalie, and keeping Reaves in the lineup…
And only Bonehead Brad would think that Cowan is ready for a top 6 role next season. This team is doomed for as long as he’s GM. Letting Dubas go was this franchise’s biggest mistake

You're arguing the offensive merits of 4th-liners, which is exactly my point. Krebs is a 4th-liner who has more assists than Accari (in 25 more games.) However...the question still stands, name me one thing that Krebs excels at. For instance, Accari is very good on the dot (and he scored as many goals as Krebs in 25 less games *snicker, snicker*)

Minnesota keeps their picks they need to upgrade their offence not their defence. 13OA they definitely aim to get a Center or a winger with size.
No one is paying positive assets for Dvorak unless he is retained then you might get a 4th.
Anaheim trade doesn’t work because Minnesota says no.
Anderson contract is arguably worse then Dubois so doubt LA says yes. If Dubois+ is moved it’s for a starter goalie not a **** 4th liner who doesn’t have the speed he once relied on and a prospect who has a 50/50 chance of turning out

On the other end Harris is a good bottom pairing dman in the NHL … when a fan based aren’t backing up a certain player, it tells a lot. It’s like Josh Anderson, he was garbage this season, you don’t see Habs fans trading him for positive value (at least I hope not)</div></div>
You mean a lot of Avs fan that saw him not play because he was hurt? Give me a break. What I will say is essentially they are just guys to any other team in the league people over value their teams guys.

If it weren't for injuries, Jake would had had 3 90 point seasons, including this season where he was on pace for 94 points. He can get $9M easily on the market.

No impact piece, no Zegras, we don't care how many first round equivalent pieces you throw, we don't care how many late 1st round picks you throw.
6OA + Beck + Kovacevic
Reinbacher + 25 2nd
Slafkovsky
Select one with no modifications, or no Zegras trade.

We've always been very specific and never used the words "top forward" or "top RhD prospect." Specifically, we've listed three possible formulations for a Zegras trade: (1) Slavkovsky; (2) the Montreal first and a top forward prospect like Beck or Mesar; and (3) Reinbacher and your 2025 second. I don't ever recall any of us mentioning Suzuki (why in the world would we need a center?!?) or saying "the Jets first and a top 4 RhD prospect." What I recall MY saying was that we would take Reinbacher and the Jets first in response to this very proposal (Barron and the Jets pick). Finally, it's absolutely untrue than any of us have ever said we'd trade Zegras for Caufield.</div></div>
I feel for you guys. These Habs fans don't stop. What's even worse it's the same ones everyday. It wouldn't be so ridiculous if it was new people that aren't active on here often, but it's active members doing it every single day.

This package satisfies the 3rd option, Barron is a top 4 RD prospect, his ceiling might not be as high as Reinbacher's but it is still top 4, it is still higher than Mailloux's as well and heis only 22 so he still has time to develop.</div></div>

If a PPG is meh then I’ll take a lot of meh. Jackets had Anderson for some of his best years and he was one of my favorite players ever. He was nowhere close to the player laine is when healthy and now he’s completely washed and is being paid a lot more

No, no...you're going to have to pay to dump Anderson (who is certain to have CBJ on his NTC), then pay for Laine, then pay for Jiricek, two players who aren't even available.
There needs to be a lot more quality going to CBJ in this.
