Ah, yes, Minnesota will definitely take on one of the largest cap hits in the league while still dealing with the Parise/Suter buyouts. Totally.

The Wild can't afford Marner without massive retentions. The Wild probably can't afford to give him an extension when he hits the UFA market after next season, either. Hartman has a NMC, and I doubt he waives it for a Canadian team. Järnkrok is a cap dump.

I still can't figure out why MIN bought Suter out.
He's done well in DAL while MIN pays him

I like Lilly but I'm not paying a 17OA pick for him. I've seen like a 100 TOR trades of Lilly to the Caps for a 2nd. I'd do that but Caps would need to make room. They currently have 4RHD making over $2M.

I think there could be a lottery protection or give up a first in the 2025 draft. Last season, Liljegren was a much better player than Sandin and we still ended up getting a first from the Caps

Even by your standards, that Marner trade is exceptionally irrational. Minny can’t afford him, no way he waives, return is pathetic

Of course Bonehead Brad would want to give Marner away for pennies (to a team that can’t even afford him), while keeping Edmundson, overpaying Roy, not acquiring another goalie, and keeping Reaves in the lineup…

And only Bonehead Brad would think that Cowan is ready for a top 6 role next season. This team is doomed for as long as he’s GM. Letting Dubas go was this franchise’s biggest mistake

Treliving is the worst thing to happen to this franchise. None of his moves have worked out. He brought in Reaves, Klingberg, Edmundson, and Lyubushkin. He overpaid Nylander, Kampf, and Samsonov. He let Matthews have everything he wanted in contract negotiations. Luckily Shannahan made a couple good moves to bring in Domi, Bertuzzi, and Benoit but Treliving has been awful. He should be fired immediately

Tampa Bay and Colorado were not physical teams and they’ve won 3 of the last 4 cups. Scrubs like Reaves and Lyubushkin don’t win you cups. The Leafs are hopeless under Bonehead Brad. They won’t win anything until he’s fired

the poster of this knows the penguins aren't taking that garbage and yet they still persist.

Step out of fantasy land. You know better.
