Toronto style teardown
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>orignalsix</b></div><div>The Toronto tear down included trading players and retaining or taking salaries in return. Your trades likely don't happen because you have traded to much cap to teams without much cap space.</div></div>
If these trades are done at the deadline there should be salary room for all teams

Well it makes sense you'd question this TRADE as it's not your regular lowry+Dani for Sheary+pouliot.

Why would u trade a younger higher value Gudbranson for demers who's older. And then swap demers for a middle 6 winger in kapanen

Worth a Shot
Sedins are still top 6 players meaning they're worth more than a 2nd.
Draisaitl isn't even that great. He's a good 2nd line centre but let's Remmeber he had 70 points playing with mcdavid. Take mcdavid away he's only an ok 1st line center and a good 2nd line centre. Id rather have the first rounders bcuz he can draft our own talent

Dahlin would be on the 1st pair
The salaries seem reasonable except 7 million for stecher. Maybe just 5 million.
Lind is not going to be a 1st line player, he'll be either 2nd or 3rd line winger

What's Gallagher worth then?
I appreciate you trying to improve ur proposal but it's still not good.
Granlund scored 19 goals even though he was injured in November and didn't finish the season.
Hutton has proven he can play top 4 or 5 defensive minutes and he'll only get better
While Gallagher is a 3rd line winger who's undersized
And juulsen a defenceman who's unproven and might not turn out.
Still not fair, stop trying to give us Gallagher plz we don't want him he stinks and we have enough third liners that's why we were bottom of the league

Tanev is worth a ransom in today's nhl. 1st and a good prospect. Rnh is a third line center don't be insulting
If it was Sutter for rnh id do it if you guys retained some salary. Maybe canucks add a really late pick if u retain salary. But that's it

Twins and Tanev
Sedins had 50 points playing with AHL talent. 50 points is still top 6 talent. If u retain one of their salaries they're worth even more. A top 6 forward goes for a first and a prospect now a days.
Although puljujarvi is a good prospect he could be good. But fayne is borderline NHL player.
Henriks value 1st or 2nd and B+ prospect
Daniel's value 1st or 2nd and B+ prospect
Tanev 1st & B+ prospect
Puljujarvi is worth a low first
Fayne is worth AHL scraps

Lines are a little wacky Id rather run with Seguin Horvat pettersson down the middle but aside from that your trades aren't that far off. The Hutton one we might still have to add because Jones is a beast
Good job

Is this fair value?
No
Horvat just keeps progressing so there's no way to value him correctly but he had 50 points playing 2-3 line minutes with Baertschi and usually a not so good winger unless it was Burrows for that short stint. If horvat played with actual first liners he could be 70 point guy
Tanev is one of the best shot suppression defenceman in the league and he's on a terrible canucks team. Just goes to show u how good he'd be if he was on a contender.
Draisaitl got 70 points playing with mcdavid.
Id rather keep Horvat and Tanev
P.s. giving us bear who is a C prospect is just insulting

Nucks 2020
Gallagher isn't good. And you know what your getting with him
Virtanen still has potential to be a dangerous power forward. His shot suppression is amazing, he just needs to have offensive linemates as he doesn't generate offense on his own. He still has top 6 potential. Why can't ppl be patient, Sheary was in the AHL till he was 22 so relax
Same with Subban, he has offensive potential, I bet if the canucks give him a game they'll love him so much they won't send him down again. Be patient with him too.
Any cheap ufa can do what Gallagher does for cheaper

I'm a canucks fan and ik that Sutter stinks and won't get you flurry. Even if u add a backup goalie.
And stop with the Gallagher for Hutton and Hutton traded. Gallagher is a third liner so stop it and stop putting him on the first line

Habs and Canucks fans, would you make this trade?
LOL no it's not.
Granlund had an injured wrist way back in November and still managed 19 goals before they shut him down with a month left in the season. That was playing third line minutes.
Hutton can be a top 4 or 5 guy, I think he can be top 4. I think Willie Desjardins just forced him into playing more of a defensive game when he's more offensive.
Gallagher is nothing special and Definetly not worth as much both those two

Bring the cup home For sedins
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>We_Want_The_Cup</b></div><div>Wow, that's a terrifying team. Of course, it's a huge price to pay for rentals so I don't know how I'd feel about this IRL. Obviously, we'd become cup challengers, but then shoot ourselves in the foot for the following year with Juulsen (and previously Sergachev) gone, leaving no youth available to be mentored by Weber.</div></div>
What your saying is very true, but usually contending teams mortgage their future for a chance at a cup and right now is your window. You can always rebuild later, every team goes through the cycle

I think the 2nd should stay just in case.
This is very fair bcuz no matter what ppl think, the Sedins are still two top 6 talents. Not elite anymore but they are too 6 who can get 50- 65 points with a good winger.

I appreciate you trying to take Dorsett away for that I am thankful but virtanen still has a higher ceiling than the players your giving us.
We just got to be patient with him. Sheary was in the minors till he was 22 and look how he turned out. With virtanen I think many canucks fans will wait patiently bcuz of he doesn't own out he can at least be a good 3rd 4th liner. Which is basically what ur giving us in return

Plekanec, Davidson for Sedins (lol)
That's ridiculous, go back to ur video games kid.
Sedins produced 2nd line numbers last year while playing with AHL linemates like Chaput megna.
2Nd liners now a days go for a 1sts and maybe a prospect.
If you trade for the Sedins and let's say 50% is retained on one of them That's 10.5 million headed your way, 5.25 mi basically each for two players who could easily get 50 points of played with good linemates. That's pretty good
Sedins with one retained at 50% should return a 1st (since it'll be a late first cuz playoffs) 2nd and B+ prospect and maybe a cap dump like plekanec
That's a fair deal not ur scraps plekanec and Davidson
