Game 5 Lineup
I believe Bunting should go back in. But ZAR has been very good in my mind. I would prefer removing Lafferty than ZAR.
I agree with giving Lily a shot next game for sure.

Spezza already announced his retirement, so not sure why he’s included in this, and where’s Sandin and Engvall? Also, I don’t think Detroit takes that deal, same with Buffalo

with all due respect to everyone trading mrazek away
1mil in cap space is not worth a 2nd and a 3rd round pick
just buy him out and keep the picks build around 1 an 81.5 million cap

Not in terms of trade value. It's a gross overpay for the Leafs as Sandin can play both sides and might just be as good or better than Drysdale, not to mention Nylander is the best player in that trade as of now.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Theo</b></div><div>Comtois is not even added to that trade. To high of a cap hit.
I dont know why anaheim would make that trade - defense isn't their strong part and this is a solid dee man early in his career.</div></div>
They probably wouldn't want to move Drysdale who they envision as part of their future core, however Sandin should be a capable replacement that can play both sides, and they get the best player in the deal even if he's a two year rental (he only has a M-NTC in the final year, so they can flip him for more)

JT to the leafs
Leafs don't need help in the offense side they need an upgrade in Defense and a reliable back up goaltender, any trading involving Sandin is a no go he wont be leaving anytime soon

This is an overpay by the Leafs. Petry isn't a stud. He's good but not great and only has 1 year left beyond this one

Interesting. What do MTL fans think Petry is worth, exactly? Or, maybe more importantly, what pieces need to be part of the return for Petry?

Ducks trade your thoughts
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>newballcoach</b></div><div>Am I the only person who thinks the Leafs have way underpaid on this trade? A reliable backup and a top pair RHD for 2 fourth liners, a 3rd pairing overpaid D, a B prospect, an A prospect and a first? They gave up more then this for Jake Muzzin did they not? And Manson is younger with more term and plays a position of need for both franchises. Wouldn't it take more then that?</div></div>
Muzzin is better and they only gave up a B prospect and a 1st. Bracco and Liljegren are both A prospects as far as the leafs are concerned and the 1st is just excessive.
Ya the other guys are minor pieces but the leafs dont need a defensman that badly.

Blockbuster with Wild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? okay, so spurgeon is a legit number one. The wild give up by far the best two players in the deal, and take on a cap dump. Dubas gets a 40 year extension if he pulls this off.</div></div>
Have you ever seen Bracco play? He is breaking the ahl.
I think this trade is far fetched both ways. Leafs won’t be sensing their best prospects plus roster players for a rental and a net prescience guy.
Send less prospects better players and picks.
