AZ trade- not OEL

Hence the toilet value, keeping OEL and cap space is imperative if the yotes are gonna bring in a whale, like Tavares

Domi had one good year and Strome looks more like a 4A type that can't hack the majors</div></div>

AZ trade- not OEL

Sherry is better than all of AZs wingers other than Keller domi and Perlini(when he is on) Sherry drives play and his production is better than Domi's and he hasn't been on Crosbys wing for the most part, Hagelin has. Even better lately, he knows Tocchet, like Sherry, and his speed and PK ability will be a lot of help, both are cost controlled with term which is good for AZ, Reaves isn't a salary dump, losing Hags and Shearry are enough of that, Reaves is because Tocchet likes him and his ilk

Domis and Stromes value is in the toilet. They won't get any better than that, 2 NHL players an NHL goalie, and a goon that Tocchet will like

Strome is the last vestige of Tippet and he needs a change of scenery where he isn't constantly being viewed as a bust/pressure of being a 1C. AZ has a money/arena/Canadian media problem and can't afford Domi so this way they can recoup assets and get a goalie that's a great backup if Raanta resigns or an average to above average starter. AZ needs al the cap and money to resign OEL

Letang is better than Weber, that pairing would get caved in. Honestly Id rather play Schultz more.

Bye bye Bozak and Van Reimsdyk
No way would anybody this side of Peter Chiarelli would trade OEL for that trash, OEL would cost Matthews straight up as the only way to get OEL that or Marner Nylander plus picks

OEL to the Habs
No way the Yotes take this trade, OEL is a Norris nominee caliber Dman, almost as rare as a franchise center, Habs don't have the assets to acquire him. They would have to give up 1st rounders for the next couple years and Patches and Galch and and and

Win Win with Edmonton
Id say that Hags, Johnson, and Cole help them now. Id think they would take Rust as a cost control, but Sheary has 3yrs left and his hit will put them too close to the cap when it comes time to resign Yamamoto.

Id say he is an average 2C, He is better offensively and weaker on D. He is weaker at D compared to the 2nd line archetype, but still better than Bonino was. He is slightly below where Staal was in 2011-2012 Defensively but about equal offensively. As for the cost Centers have a highly inflated value right now and Cole and Hags are necessary from PITs standpoint to make the deal work.

PIT would not make that trade, specifically in the division, and definitely don't need an aging yet beautiful Hank, Murray is the future, makes no sense.

These guys need a good goalie sooo bad
That's an overpay for Mrazek, his value is down with an iffy 16-17 campaign and then being exposed in the expansion draft and the Vegas not selecting him. They have a goalie in Raanta and Domingue is a decent back up.

Insta-contender
My reasoning is that NYI is in shambles, no arena deal and they don't have much depth. The projected contracts are overpays because its AZ and TR and Domi should have decent years, Domi's is cap adjusted by comparing Pastrnack's and Dreisital's. I think JT would be attracted because A) some anonymity due to the market B) decent marketing opportunities since the suns suck and the cardinals will suck C) they are trending up D) They possess that rarest of unicorn and that's a true elite #1 D-man in OEL E) Raanta will be good, better than darling and there is an overpay as well. Duclair got traded.
