My reasoning on Dillon was incase Zadorov asked for like 5 or wants term where hopefully you could get Dillon on an Ian Cole style 1 year deal

8.5 in Florida vs 9.5 in Vancouver is relatively comparable. It's an almost negligible difference and then you can factor in maybe he wants to play for his hometown. Yes some players care about every last dollar but other players (ie Tavares) are willing to give up some money to go home

Canucks don't even consider that. Hanifin isn't signing in Canada. and that's real low on Pesce. Highly doubt Guentzel signs in EDM either, especially for only 8x5

I'm an idiot apparently, I thought this was a different one which was Hoglander + Lindholm.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SidTheKid35</b></div><div>Guentzel is better than lindholm 💀 it won’t be a one for one deal. Canucks will add a prospect or a young NHLer and then Lindholm will be flipped for a pick and another prospect.
Reason this hasn’t happened yet because dubas is likely adamant on Lekerimaki being part of the deal. Jim Rutherford will fold eventually</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hockeyfan1234</b></div><div>Sure but he isn’t near the value of Guentzel. Lindholm has only gone down in value since becoming a Canuck.</div></div>
Not saying he is but Canucks will add picks well before they add a super young and cheap guy who's top 10 in 5-5 scoring

Hanzel and Guentzel
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jeremyttowne</b></div><div>Just because you don't want Hoglander in play, doesn't mean he isn't in play. You may still be getting used to GMJR, but as a Penguins fan, I can tell you from experience that he is willing to ignore popular opinion in order to get a guy he wants. It led him to two Stanley Cups. His methods are unorthodox, but he has vision like no other. If I were a Canucks fan, I wouldn't want to lose Hoglander either. But to claim a guy is not in play, no matter who reported it, is ridiculous. We'll know who's not in play after the trade occurs.</div></div>
For sure but every report coming from Canucks insiders is Hoglander has been a no-go for everything

Buch
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mokumboi</b></div><div>1 - It's specifically Willander's position, type and quality. But also Raty would be of little interest.
That said, I'm not expecting anything. I'm not trying to trade him. I'm just relaying the only approach that would likely get Army's attention.
2 - Not really sure what the TDL specifically has to do with it. Prospects of that caliber get traded all the time. It;s not a unicorn scenario.</div></div>
1 - Very fair. I'm not really sure what the St Louis prospect pool is looking for so I was kinda guessing with my offer.
2 - My reasoning was that generally around this part of the season if players were to get moved, super valuable prospects don't really get included in the deals. Though I could see that being different for Buch as he has those 2 years of team control.

Either start with Willander, or don't bother starting. Just FYI.</div></div>
Genuinely curious, are you expecting a player of Willanders capability in a Buch trade or is it just the fall of between him and Raty is too big? If the latter I totally get it but I cannot think of the last time a prospect of his calibre was traded in a deadline deal (I could just be forgetting though)
