I really don’t think you understand hockey.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>I’m excited for the north, because it’s very unpredictable. It will be the division i watch most closely. But they aren’t good. And Ottawa really isn’t good. That said the reason this division is so much fun is that they’re really the only team you can be sure won’t make the playoffs.

Ya the leafs made a couple game 7s. But, they’re the leafs. We know they aren’t winning those games. Every leafs fan knew it deep down.</div></div>
I do think you understand hockey, but I think you’re underestimating the Canadian teams a little. I don’t think they have a top 5 team in the league (COL, STL, VGK, TBL, CAR are probably my top 5 at this point), but I’d say they’ve got at least 3 in the next tier. Calgary is a very complete team, and if Gaudreau and Monahan bounce back they could be scary. Toronto has arguably the best top 6 in the league (as long as they get Thornton and Vesey out of there, idk wtf they’re playing at) and finally has 3 solid defensemen, and Edmonton has 2 of the best 5 players in the world and actual good depth for once, Turris, Puljujarvi, Yamamoto, and Kahun are solid support pieces to the big 3 up front (obviously defense and goaltending remain a question mark but McD+Drai can put up 5 points at the drop of a hat). Those 3 at least should be competitive with teams like Boston/Philly/Pittsburgh/Dallas.
