Seabrook Trade VAN
Seabrook will not waive his no move. He is going to die a blackhawk. Just cross our fingers and hope for amnesty buyouts in the new CBA

Vancouver declined going from 10oa to 3oa for seabrooks contract, not sure if anything is going to convince them to take it

Trading Keith FLA VAN
I don't really want to trade Keith. There's a lot of unpack when trading Keith. A.) He still plays 23+ minutes a game of being a #1Dman. B.) He hasn't slown down at all...he's been the most physically fit Blackhawks in training camp just about every single year he's been a Blackhawks. Sure he doesn't play 25+ min a game, but that's just Q riding Keith. If Keith goes to Florida...he might again play 25 minutes a game! C.) His cap is still a bargain. $5.5M for #1Dman is HUGE! D.) if Keith gets traded there needs to be consideration about his cap-recapture. There are major penalties to the Hawks if he chooses that Florida (or any where) isn't the place for him. Much of this can be handled...like open communication between Tallon and Bowman. Trading him back if he plans to retire. But still something to consider.

Good job!
I agree that it is very tempting to put Dach in the roster right away. But from my point of view, keep developing in the WHL and if he crack the roster, put him in a top line to produce. I don´t like the way Phily has handled Nolan Patrick. These top prospect must be used in situations to make best use of their qualities.
I like the idea with the Hoffman trade. But should Blackhawks be worried with his off-ice "problems". I don´t want to make a to big deal out of it but the situation in Ottawa with Karlsson was not good.
I am pretty sure that Kubalik will get a good chance in a top role. I shouldn´t compare him with Panarin but in some way a similar situation. A point per game player in Europe so give him a chance in a top role.

Good job with (your opinion) trades. I can totally see something like this happen, especially with Chicago's reputation of getting the better end of deals

I’d say that Strome is top 6 for the hawks. The bridge contract is dead.

Ward is NOT signing with us for A year let alone 3. Time to do as your title says and let the YOUNG talent get the net and grow.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CrazyK04</b></div><div>Kahun will probably go back to Germany. I think Sikura on the first line with Toews and Saad would be pretty good.</div></div>
Kahun is a really smooth player and probably makes the team. He has a good offensive skill set with the speed to boot, the hawks can use his speed as that's something they lacked a lot of last season.

Chicago 19-20 Roster w/Lottery Win & Big Splash
Five stars, that would be a very difficult trade for Betterall to pass up. I know it is a long high cap hit but I think he could make it work.
Seabrook would be paired with Dahlin and help guild him into the NHL.
Let's make a deal!!!
:cheers

Like the idea, but don't think the Hawks realistically have the assets to trade for two top pairing (or #2/#3) defenders. One yes, not both, though I'd love to see it.

The fact that I didn't add anymore picks is that every GM knows OTT is trying to unload Smith's contract. So, by including him in the deal, it negates a little bit the need to add more picks. E.K65 for Nylander Liljegren 2018 1st 2019 2nd* (1st if EK resign) seems fair considering you get Karlsson only for a season at 6.5M and Nylander is signed through 2021 at 5M per (in my scenario). The 2019 3rd pick is for Smith & Ott 2018 4th pick (salary dump, here, remember guys).
