Dallas gets Nylander The deal is one for one
LMAO. Martin Hanzal for a 1st Round Pick :tearsofjoy:tearsofjoy He wasn't worth that the first time he was traded.
Nylander woud have to cost Heiskanen...There is no doubt in my mind on that...

Chicago Part 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CrazyK04</b></div><div>Seabs is worth way more than that. You don't have to give up that first either. Trade him to Vancouver but retain 25% of his salary and add in a 3rd instead of the other 2 picks. Take back a young forward prospect of goalie and let the you defencemen play.</div></div>
Seabrook himself may be worth more than that but his contract does not match up. I would be shocked if the Hawks did not give up a first or second in a deal to dump the Seabrook contract.

Chicago 18-19 Roster
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ChiHawk</b></div><div>For Carolina trade, move the picks out of there and add just a 2018 1st round pick from Nashville to Carolina and it's a good deal.
Edmonton deal won't happen and isn't good either side. Plus you don't sign a RFA to trade him, they would give the RFA rights prior to the season.
Where is Jokiharju? That is another $925K committed and you need another guy on the bench, 21 players is rare to go with, generally 22 or 23.</div></div>
I didn’t even think of putting in the Nashville Pick. Thanks for that.
As for the Edmonton deal I think it is plenty fair and I think it works out for both teams. Hawks get a much needed Top 4 D Man who is signed long term.
The only reason I signed Duclair was to show what type of contract he would be in line for.
And I do not think Jokiharju makes the roster next season. He may come up due to injuries and such but I don’t see him breaking camp.
I just went with the starting lines and the one extra defensemen as an example of what they could look like. The 22nd player would probably be a revolving door with a couple AHL players.

Finaly Trading Kadri ++
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MG1986</b></div><div>I am basing the deal solely on needs. Chicago is not rebuilding and could really use a JVR to compliment their top-6. Furthermore, I know that Chicago is high on Oliver Wahlstrom. Bouchard likely won't be ready until 2019-20, but Wahlstrom has the potential to step into the league immediately.</div></div>
I think Bouchard is more NHL Ready than most people think...And personally I would be shocked if the Hawks did anything but draft a defenseman with their first 1st Rounder.

I understand why you would want Chicago's pick but I have to see where it lands in the lottery before I fully get behind this trade. Mostly because I want Evan Bouchard badly...

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Price_is_the_goat</b></div><div>very fair trade. add another 2nd rder though</div></div>
Definitely agree with this. Nylander, Liljegren, 2018 1st, 2019 2nd* & 3rd, 2020 2nd. That to me would be the fair market value. May seem steep to some but solid deal for both sides.

Chicago 18-19 Roster
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ckleiner21</b></div><div>Scott Darling has the worst save % among qualifying starters in front of a defense that is better than the Hawks</div></div>
I am firmly in the belief that Darling is far better than his numbers this year show. I think having him back in a dressing room he is familiar with and back with this coaching staff will bring him back up to a Regular NHL Starting goalie. Even if that doesn’t work out, he is a solid backup to Carter Hutton who has been consistently good as a backup in this league.
This is just my opinion and I appreciate your feedback.

Chicago 18-19 Roster
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NickC1988</b></div><div>I think we know why you're not GM. AZ isn't giving up any asset to take on Seabrook's abysmal contract. Nuge>Arty.</div></div>
Arizona getting what could end up being a high 2nd round pick for a Defenseman that has been hurt all year? I don’t think they will care much about taking on that contract if it means getting some nice draft pick capital.
As for the RNH for AA trade, that was made as a way for Edmonton to save a little bit of cap space. Edmonton will be paying $31M + for 4 players (McDavid, Draisaitl, Lucic & Russell). They probably would want to clear a little bit and saving $1.5M+ while only downgrading slightly at 3rd Line avenger isn’t but atrocious for them. The third round pick is just an additional way for having Chicago take on that extra money. Sorry that I have not pleased you with my way of thinking.

I have it on good authority that Crawford is done as a Chicago Blackhawk. Fell off the wagon and has been told by Wertz that he is never playing another game as a Blackhawk. I know it’s not a popular move but this is what will happen.
