Rebuild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>orzzy</b></div><div>Great deal for Edmonton. Almost too much term for the bruins to retain salary but if they are committing to a rebuild doesn't really matter I guess</div></div>
DeBrusk only has a year left on his deal so there isn't worry in my eyes about the retained salary when re-signing or signing players. Plus Pulju I think is worth to keep through the whole rebuild he's such a good player.

Yeah but I don't want him too, doesn't feel worth it. Would rather trade for a 2C if Coyle can't do it

I bet Seattle can get more than Boqvist, the roster feels well fit for only a second season. Would rather get picks or prospects for him

To me, it sounds like you’d do it for a lesser pick. In that case, we probably “fall for it”.</div></div>
I'll take the best offer i can get and knowing teams some might see Gruby as a good goalie and just having trouble from being in Seattle and on a brand new team. That would lead to them offering up at least a second for him just due to cap hit and length

I forgot zboril was out. Might fix this a little and do that bc Reilly's cap hit is too much for what he is and what he's playing

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Aussie_Blackhawk</b></div><div>CHI would have to look at this seriously. Would BOS really be willing to drop a 2nd with Debrusk in the package though? Just doesn't seem like its a huge need when your just playing him as a winger on the 3rd line.</div></div>
I understand it, just didn't know where to play him since the bruins top 6 looks really good. I've seen others do the same trade and play him higher. DeBrusk also wants a trade out and he probably evens with Strome. Problem is Debrusk isn't a definite to resign and he could just sit as a third liner so the second is to try and sell DeBrusk to Chicago.

We have the pieces to retool, getting someone in FA would be great but that's hard to do. I see the trade and where it makes sense, would just rather try to keep Lysell for the future and try to get that 1C through a different trade or FA

True, it seems like the window is closing though on the core we had before a retool truly takes place. Would rather keep the young guy so when the retool does happen he'll be ready to go

I'd rather keep Lysell over letting him go for someone that's more likely a rental. Other than that good deals

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bruinsforlife</b></div><div>Nah you good bro, Reilly can generate offense yeah, but he can’t against good players, he’s easily pressured and that create turnovers. Vaak is good play with poised really good stick (defensively and puck moving) don’t own a good shot. Lack physicality but compense with a amazing stick work</div></div>
So basically use Reilly in a trade to get a bigger D-man who could play with Vaak and let him use his offense without worry of lacking size. then just leave the other pairs alone

Honestly don't want to take on the cap hit for Hayes, also the center depth is a lot better with how Haula and Nosek is playing really well. Need more winger depth in the bottom 6 to replace DeBrusk and someone else

Keep Zboril. Hockey trade of Reilly for Cal would make sense. But Cal does not provide enough offensively for 3rd line and 4th line has plenty of options.</div></div>
Reilly is a top 4 D, really for the second pairing and we just resigned him to a deal that fits really well. would rather try to use clifton or someone else to get a depth piece like Marcus Johansson

Boston isn't going to give up Lysell. DeBrusk and Frederick can be used in a trade plus the two seconds. Make it a first instead of Lysell and it's more of a consideration

That makes more sense, I thought you were saying trading DeBrusk like that was crazy. Miller is gonna get a big trade bc of talk going around the league for him and people seeing him as a top line forward when he isn't an elite top liner

BOS hangs up...</div></div>
I'm sorry dude but no, DeBrusk is getting overpaid and is looking like a worse version of Taylor Hall any year but this one and his hart trophy year. He has no little trade value along with barely being a second liner right now.
