A mostly run it back situation with a few tweaks
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>I doubt if the difference between Liljegren and Chychrun is 2m dollars. Chychrun gets 30% of points on the PP. Chychrun has almost double the amount of turnovers Liljegren has
Chychrun is a LHD which the Leafs don't need and Liljegren is the only RHD the Leafs have next season (and Timmins).
Just don't think one year of Chychrun is is at all a fit for the Leafs.</div></div>
Do u not consider the leafs all in?

Apparently he wants 9.5 . I initially put in 8.8 but then I realized that the cap will likely be at 90-91 mill so that will probably push him into the low 9s

I’d guess Meier + some cap inflation. You have to calculate likely a 91 mill cap by 2025-2026

Not even 1 piece with top 6 potential . Ottawa declines
This might be the biggest quantity trade I’ve ever seen not to mention the Sens are adding more cap than they are taking. This is garbage.
Not to mention the Sens wouldn’t trade Ostapchuk either

I think yeah 3rd line guys who can score some and play 2 way to fill out the bottom 6 is the goal. Speed and Size are keys in this area.
Foegele, Trenin, Malenstyn, Rossi, etc etc. Maybe replace clarke with a 2 way veteran like Martinook</div></div>
Yeah Foegele would be an excellent fit for sure

I feel like he would just bet on himself and take like a 2 x 3.5 bridge at this point

Yes it’s possible . I think what they might do is trade Whitecloud and replace him with Korczak for cheaper . They might not keep Marchessault and then trade for someone or just like keep Mantha

Whatever it takes to get Parekh and Nygard
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>I don't think Minnesota does that. The Wild are still laboring under the Parise - Suter buyouts and adding that much cap when Middleton has proven to fit Minnesota quite well just doesn't seem advantageous, especially if it costs them the 13th overall pick in June. Then there's the additional point that Middleton will be much cheaper to re-sign than Chychrun, and I'm not sure that upgrading the left side of the defense is high on the Wild's list of priorities. I think that you'd be lucky to persuade Bill Guerin to do that even if you substituted one of Minnesota's three A-prospects at LhD for Middleton. Finally, I don't think that the fact that Chychrun's current deal is 50% underwater this year helps.</div></div>

And I’m not willing to trade Pinto or the 7th overall for Saros.
The forward corps is good but they need good depth . They need bottom 6 players poached from Vegas , Carolina and Florida

He had a brutal year man. If he was as good like McDonagh and Lindholm who are two guys that got traded as top pair on their teams and became 2nd pairs on another team , the Sens would’ve easily made the playoffs.

I have no clue what they can get . Probably like similar to the Debrincat trade. A 1st rounder in the early 20s this year and a good bottom 4D is my guess
