(CGY/VAN) - Lindholm for Kuzmenko, Brzustewicz, Jurmo, 2024 1st (VAN), 2024 4th (VAN)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Neutral_Zone_Highlights</b></div><div>Vancouver as a team has a goal differential of +59 yet Kuz was the only forward on the team carrying a minus rating. He's a defensive liability which is why he was repeatedly a healthy scratch. He's all offense, and when the offense isn't there, he's a detractor for the team.</div></div>
people forget his last season quite fast.

Way to costly to buyout him this summer, with 3 years left he would cost around 1.5 to 2.6 in cap space for the next 6 years. Holland is trying to get someone get him for the price of Broberg which is too low.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>svfsdv</b></div><div>I'm saying it makes 0 difference. You could add 2 MAF and 2 Maroons and it would make 0 difference. They aren't that close to competing. You would throwing the pick in the garbage for another playoff loss and 2 guys who will then immediately walk away when the season ends. The Leafs traded more in the past. They also had more to trade. They are low on assets now. And when you are low on assets, you don't waste them away on fruitless, pointless endeavors.</div></div>
Jesus you are depressing to talk to you

Please tell me you're joking. Not bad?? Campbell and Pickard in for Mangiapane (50% retained!!), a depth goalie, a 1st and a 2nd??
This is a criminally homer Oilers deal.

Lindholm aint worth that much
The Flames still wouldn't take a 28 year old under contract for 6 seasons in Wood. Calum Ritchie and a 1st is more in the ballpark.

DAL-PHL Walker
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CH70</b></div><div>What do you feel is reasonable? Walker will likely get a similar package that Tanev gets. If it were no money changing hands, a 2nd and a prospect, but the fact that any team will most likely have to retain a good chunk to make it work increases the return.</div></div>
That's two 1st Round Picks worth of value for Walker. I like Walker, but that's simply way too much. You also have Dallas sending their 2nd best defenseman down to the AHL to make the cap work. That will not be happening either.
Tanev will get a 1st and a good prospect. Walker does not get a 1st and a TOP prospect. Take Bourque out of the deal entirely and you're closer.

They sure like him but you already have Vladar and now Wolf seem ready to give an go in NHL so one need to lets is place to the young buck. Between the two Markstrom have the biggest contract and value so he's more likely to be use to help in an retool ?

Oilers deadline deal
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BennyBoy</b></div><div>Has a Habs fan, I would prefer to keep Savard and Ceci out of it... Allen for Lavoie and 1st.</div></div>
There to much good goaltender available right now to get anything near this trade for Allen. Even today Colombus have put Spencer Martin on waiver to send him down and would almost for sure be pick by one the the many team in dire need of goaltender presence.
I would ideally prefer letting Savard one more year with the team to help with the young guys but with the emergence of Struble and with Xhekaj/ Mailloux pair being better and better game after game maybe there spot that would be needed sooner to be made for the young guys.

Allen isn’t going to get us that. Almost no goalie gets traded for this much, definitely not a backup.

I saved the krakens season
Probably enough for Hanifin, not quite there for Lindholm, definitely not close to getting both.
Deal for both with 50% retention would have to be something along the lines of Evans + Firkus + Wright/Sale + 1st rounder.
Calgary potentially interested in someone like Tolvanen as a more ready-now roster player if they look to retool over fully committing to a rebuild.
Have to remember that by dealing within the division, Flames severely hamper their own playoff chances both now and in the future, so this would require a significant price premium.

Canucks say no. Blues say yes. Given the way Hunter is producing, this is effectively two first rounders and Kuz for a rental. Extreme overpayment.

vladr best option for oil
Flames have to take salary back to make this work. Campbell plus Holloway and maybe a second or third pick would do it? Bury Campbell with the Wranglers.
