Robertson for Dobson
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ForsbergForVezina</b></div><div>Usually whenever I see Dobson getting traded in ACGMs I like immediately write it off lol, he’s like an integral piece of the core now. But yeah, kinda hard to say no right away when it’s Jason Robertson coming back.
Each player would definitely be a fit for their new respective teams I think, but when traded for each other, Dallas is definitely leaving a bit of value on the table imo. Fun idea tho</div></div>
I think their value is pretty equal. Historically young, legit top pairing, righthanded, offensive Dmen have the same trade-value like first line winger.

Robertson for Dobson
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ForsbergForVezina</b></div><div>Lowkey kinda interesting, at least from the Isles POV.
Not sure Dallas would do it tho</div></div>
Me neither! It was just a random idea i had, that i think makes sense for both Teams. Dallas has 3 of the best forward prospects in the NHL and they are really close to make the team. If Calgary decides they want to rebuild, the Stars could make the best offer for Tkachuk, but would have to shed some salary to re-sign him. Dobson fills their need for an offensive RHD.

so that deal should be doable for the flames, right? if not, they can easily dump a contract or use another team as a brooker.

800k is actually wrong. today, clutterbuck has a remaining caphit of 1,032,500, half of that is ca. 500k plus greenes reaining caphit is ca 220k. the trade could work right now. please correct me, if i`m wrong!

flames have 870,750 in capspace at the deadline. greene plus clutterbuck (50% retained) will be ca. 800,000! this deal only works at the deadline in terms of money. flames would also bury ritchies contract in the minors.

i`m an islanders fan, by the way. i just think nelson makes the most sense out of all the options for boston! short and midterm solution for the 2c and he knows how to play on a defensive-minded team, so no big adjustment for him.

probably have to add a conditional 2nd round pick in there or one of their young left dmen.

yes, it does. boston has a little over 5 million to work with, nelson remaining caphit for this season is ca. 1,7 million. works long term for boston as well!

the cousins trade is more about insurance in case somebody else gets injured.

It would make more sense to use the Strome deal to move up an take Askarov, but even then the best player in the deal will be still Strome.</div></div>
i agree. my thought process was more around replacing saad with a younger and cheaper player, so you kinda have to bet on a guy and roslovic definetly has the skills for a top 6 role, but is stuck behind wheeler and ehlers. trading strome, in general, makes sense because they can replace him internally and have dach to play on the 2nd line. in terms of value, should maybe add another second and a prospect d like gawanke.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JayTea</b></div><div>This trade doesn't happen to begin with. They need 2-3 centers for depth, unless they plan to rely on elite sniper Victor Rask. They'll extend Soucy to play in Brodin's spot if they trade him.</div></div>
min can draft a center this year (lundell), they still have staal for one more year and for their bottom 6 they have eriksson ek and rask. so if they do trade brodin for, lets say, max domi, they will have 5 centers on their roster.

Strome >> Roslovic +2nd and moving Nylander to move up in the draft is poor asset management when you have a decent amoun or picks in the first two rounds (this year and next) to work with instead.
I don’t know that Minnesota is looking to trade for a LD, even though the value is okay. Value for Saad is a bit much without retention, and I think we add the third.</div></div>
i am betting on the potential of roslovic. in the trade with min i assume they will trade brodin for a center and i do not care for nylander.

i think they will trade brodin for a center, if they do not, then this trade does not happen.
