Brock Nelson very well may hit 35+ goals this year, is on a good contract with term, and has been one of our only consistently good players this year. It would take an overpay to pry him off of the Island, and this is not it

yes, it does. boston has a little over 5 million to work with, nelson remaining caphit for this season is ca. 1,7 million. works long term for boston as well!

probably have to add a conditional 2nd round pick in there or one of their young left dmen.

I'd have said too much a few weeks ago but looking at the Toffoli deal as a comparison I'd say thats in line with whats fair

i`m an islanders fan, by the way. i just think nelson makes the most sense out of all the options for boston! short and midterm solution for the 2c and he knows how to play on a defensive-minded team, so no big adjustment for him.
