it would be a bit more then marino, I think Lindberg has solid starter potential, but anyway YES ahah
also why not retain on a deal that is finishing? it gets you more back</div></div>
I don't know, but if I remember correctly, the blues have never retained money on their players. If we make trades in my opinion we have to trade for a completely new third line. The top six, fourth line, defense, and goaltending are great, but that third line is just bad, we should aim for guys like Barba, Domi, or Duclair and not for big guns like Tarasenko.

There's other prospects we can use, and the Peterka comment is because they play very similar games, other than Kulich being able to play all 3 forward positions.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>fil97</b></div><div>yes!! :)
what do you think of the 4th line ? who would you play ?</div></div>
I think probably Blueger-McGinn-Archibald. Although I wouldn't be against trading McGinn if we could find a suiter just given his cap hit. Just because I feel we have tons of 4th line options. Not that he's bad, but just feel we can get similar production for cheaper. I would also give O'Conner/Poulin a shot on that line at some point.

That Leafs trade is so bad for the Pens. POJ has been so good. No reason to move him.

Yes, absolutely we would. He has a NMC, but to reunite Carter & Sutter would be amazing
We definitely could use another 6'3 220lbs Right Shot C/RW who is Good at Winning FaceOffs without a doubt

Sorry but Nick Jensen doesn't get Turcotte and a 2nd round pick.
Toronto isn't giving up Knies and a 1st for an aging Orlov.
Plus if you're in sell off mode you wont be going after Meier and Pierre-Luc Dubois.
Washington will be heading for a rebuild in the next 2-3 years if not sooner. No way is either Meier or Pierre-Luc Dubois committing long term with Washington. Pieere-Luc Dubois is going home to Montreal fat chance he signs long term with the Capitals.

To be honest, I would like to see what Dumo can do with reduced minutes. If that fails, I am all for giving Smith a shot, as he deserves it.

last changes
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>fil97</b></div><div>is he going to be a healthy scratch?</div></div>
To start the season, no. Arvidsson is injured and likely out to begin the season. All signs (two preseason games, cuts to the contenders for the same spot, etc) have Vilardi in his role as 2RW next to Moore and Danault. In addition, he's been playing on their 1st PP line each game the Kings have iced mainly their full roster.
After that, the Kings showed last year they have no problems placing high skill level players on the 4th line to learn more of the defensive side of the puck. Kaliyev was there all year. My guess is that Vilardi takes a spot alongside Grundstrom and Lizotte, while Lemieux is a healthy scratch.
My bet is that next year Trevor Moore is not an LA Kings due to outplaying his contract (and the Kings not being able to afford him any more), and that opens up the spot on the 2nd/3rd line for Gabe going forward.

Agreed. A 4th line of DOC/Blueger/Zohorna would've been great.
Then take Kapanen and Rutta's money and give it to a solid FA. Man this team could have been even better

I know you put ANY TEAM in the trade details but I figured I'd provide some feedback from the Wild's perspective. We wouldn't be interested in Olivier as we are not only loaded at LDs but are also fully invested in Brackett to deliver us talent via the draft -- which primarily involves retaining and/or amassing more draft picks.
