Guentzel would be Carolinas best winger, you ain’t getting him for free, nor would he sign for that little

Gibsons stats last season were 53GP GAA 3.99 SV% .899, and he hasn't had a SV% above .904 since 2018-19. Anaheim would be lucky to shed his 4x6.5M for anything less than adding a first!

TDL - Blueger Borgen
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Mr_Gardoki</b></div><div> he's a funny player to value in a trade.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Richard88</b></div><div>A 3rd round pick seems appropriate for a rental 3C/4C. Any higher value than that and you could get a middle 6 or maybe even top 6 forward instead. If it makes it work though just add a C prospect though, no big deal.
Btw, what do you think Blueger's next contract will look like, in term and caphit? His skating would make him a nice fit in Colorado in UFA if not at the TDL.</div></div>
Yeah I agree with the above comment, Blueger is a weird player to value even because hes just so loved by the team and the fan base. Like as a pens fan, it would take a good overpay for me to happy with trading Blueger because I find him so underrated and clutch, and if no one wants to overpay, I wouldn't want to trade him as I don't think Pens can replace what he brings (without overpaying a UFA). Some bias here obviously but with literally anyone else in our bottom 6 Id be more then fine with trading, he's just weirdly a special player. I think on his next contract he should get around $3M as well.
I assume Pens will extend him but in the crazy scenario where he says hes gonna walk and were out of the playoff race I would want a high 2nd or a low 2nd + 3rd/4th. The problem with getting Colorado picks is there essentially worth a round less then there face value

TDL - Kane and POJ
As a pens fan, Kaut could get POJ, it really matters how POJ plays this year. He's been unbelievable at times and has played big minutes besides Letang, other times he has struggled and fallen out of our rotation. Pens have a pretty deep blue lines in terms on guys who should be playing regular minutes in the NHL (Letang, Dumo, Petry, Pett, Rutta, Smith, Fried, and Ruhwedel) so if POJ can work himself in the lineup I'd say Pens don't do this deal however, if he cant and is a regular healthy scratch, then pens probably do this deal (at the deadline).
For Kane I don't think thats enough based on what the rangers will probably be offering at the deadline to get 88 and the breadman back together

If you're asking for a 2nd round pick, which ain't nothing, maybe as an ACGM you could put more effort into figuring out which team might want/need that trade.</div></div>
Ottawa should be looking for a LD, they have Brammstrom and Holden right now. If they want to make the playoffs they probably should bring in a LD. Maybe Dumo isn't that guy, but they definitely need a LD

I don't want to speak for OP but probably because the other option is Justin Schultz who needs sheltered 3rd line minutes inorder to not be a complete defensive liability

Zucker is actually solid just injury prone. He hits a lot and plays a very solid 2 way game, he's a player you notice every game he plays, even when he isn't scoring, as he is still positively contributing to the team and making energy plays. The guy has just been very unlucky the last few years, and it's a shame because people act like he's a garbage, when he's still a decent 2nd line winger.

For Blueger I disagree, dude is the best 4C in the league at a reasonable price and is only 27. As a pens fans theres only a few ppl I would be opposed to trading and he would be on that list.

Barely, Marino is worth more then Garland, and as much as Sandin is a good prospect the guy was still healthy scratched 5 straight games in favour of Justin Holl in the playoffs (coming off an injury but still)

Yeah it's tough to judge value on the highly skilled forward trades. I mean if you compare this trade with the Fiala trade Pittsburgh is definitely offering more as 1st=1st and Marino + 3rd >>> Brock Faber. Sure Miller is better then Fiala but fiala is decently younger so one could argue similar value.
