Gibsons stats last season were 53GP GAA 3.99 SV% .899, and he hasn't had a SV% above .904 since 2018-19. Anaheim would be lucky to shed his 4x6.5M for anything less than adding a first!

Cool story bro, we're not looking to move him.

Cap dump trades require that 1: the team wants the player gone and 2: the team is cap strapped. Anaheim is neither with John Gibson.

yes and that won't get you debrincat. Ottawa isn't looking for prospects especially LD we have too many. Were looking for a #1 goalie

Right now, we have a starting goaltender for four more seasons. Right now, you don't have a starting goaltender for October. So we won't be giving John Gibson away, no matter how much you badmouth him because you want and need him.

If they can get Jarry to sign that low of a contract they absolutely better be keeping. And that's a pretty bad trade for the Pens
