Funny no it isn’t. Stutzle is putting up 100+ this year. He’s just getting started

Does adding tatar make this a top 3 team in the atlantic
This team is already 2nd in Atlantic in my eyes (would be 3rd behind Florida if Florida was fully healthy to start the season). Korpisalo proved he was the real deal last season, and is going to take this team to new heights over a depleted Boston, blue-line plagued Florida, and a Tampa team that went negative in the second half of last season. Acquiring Tatar should lock them in for a guaranteed second place finish over Florida.

Take another look at the Florida defense without Ekblad and Montour (both out long-term).

I’m accepting this if I’m Pat if I can then send off Joseph and the 2nd to like Chicago then trade Kubalik as well

First of all, there's nothing wrong with spending 1.2 million on a fourth liner.
Second, Suter is many tiers ahead of Kelly.

He's healthy and it's better to have Sogaard developing and getting and maintaining confidence in the AHL. You can't put an unhealthy player on the LTIR.
Also Pius Suter is a vastly superior player than Parker Kelly and will elevate our PK and our depth.

I'm a Sharks fan so not a whole lot of Bias here. Their forward group is deeper than Toronto and their d-core is about twice as good.
Not sure why you think your team is all that much better than theirs. especially considering you're about to be losing all your best players to free agency in the next two years

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>gavinray</b></div><div>They are balanced lines. The third line should get equal playtime as the first. Norris was on pace for 68 points that season as a 22 year old. I think he gets 70 this year. Batherson put up 62 while playing injured and centered by a 35 point rookie. 70 points for him is pretty reasonable when he's reunited with Norris where he was almost point per game that year.
You guys advanced one round of the playoffs for the first time in like 20 years lmao
The sens have won like 10 rounds of playoff hockey and went to the conference finals in 2017.
We've been rebuilding for 5 years, and are now on the come up with a solid core signed long term, while your aging core splits up over the next few years</div></div>

And yet...
Points/60 at ES in 2021-22 : 1.89 (Joseph) vs 1.72 (Laughton)
Points/60 at ES in 2022-23 : 1.18 (Joseph) vs 1.45 (Laughton)
Joseph better defensive + PK results
In this poster's books, Joseph is a dead weight 4th liner while Laughton is worth 1st + 2nd :tearsofjoy

We'd be getting 2 years of a super talented player who would probably get 100 points in Ottawa, not 125. And we'd be sacrificing a huge amount of depth for one player.

Just one in a million move why I just can't stand Pierre Dorion, worst manager I have ever seen after Milbury
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>lowblocksniper</b></div><div>I might just be a hater but, I think Brannstrom is already a comfirmed bust and not worth the pick</div></div>
Ignorance.
He has paced for 24 pts per 82 games pace since 2020-21 (21 y/o) and was Top-30 in defensive metrics last season. If he starts putting a bit more points on the board (which could happen based on xGF), his value would become quite high
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>lowblocksniper</b></div><div>I don't want to get into a huge debate but, nothing about his stats suggest he'll be an Elite puck moving defenceman like he was supposed to be.
Ottawa's defense was pretty bad for a long time and the kid couldn't carve out a decent role, has even shown any flashes of being a top 4 guy?
He's only 23 but, Philly has York already and I'd guess they have a prospect that is either younger or shown just as much potential as Brannstrom has so far</div></div>
You're scouting with hockeydb.com. It is worthless
Advanced stats + eye test >>>>>>>>> (infinite) >>>>>>> hockeydb.com
And yes he has shown he is ready for a bigger role, he is stuck behind Chabot and Sanderson when everyone is healthy but has looked even better when Chabot was injured
People were wrong on him, he's not a pure OFD (which is why some still think he's a bust), he's a 2-way D-man who retrieves puck and move them swiftly out. Excellent transition game

The third line has two 45 point wingers and a center that scored 20 goals as a rookie. Norris scored 35 goals in 66 games. Kastelic will 100% be the 4th line center. Kelly is 12th or 13th forward, depending
Unfortunately, they will play Hamonic over JBD until they realize (too late) that it's hurting the team. Hamonic shouldn't be carried by Sanderson another year if we're serious about making the playoffs
