Playoff Roster
Toffs on the first line, Boes on the second. Loui out, Mac or Ferland in. Leivo on LTIR (sounds like he won't be back, unfortunately). Oh, and btw, switch the whole first line with the second. We like to start the ice with Horvat; he's the best faceoff guy we have.

Trading Schwartz and Dunn to keep Pietrangelo
Not sure if the Canadiens want another LW sniper. Especially giving up a good (somewhat) prospect + a chance to land Lafreniere (even if they don't, Holtz, Quinn or Lundell are options).

Interesting. To me, unless Demko really steps it up and shows some great improvement in 2020-2021, trading him to move cap is not completely out of the question. He's been quite underwhelming performance-wise, but the potential is still there. Moving 13M to sign Petey and Quinn long term would be ideal, and I think Benning would jump at the chance.

the definitive top 3 per position
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KakkoForMauriceRichardAward</b></div><div>If Burns managed to win the Norris than Carlson shoulf be in the conversation too lol</div></div>
The problem is Burns shouldn't have won the Norris. Unfortunately, the NHL prioritizes players who score points more than players who play very well on both sides of the ice. Carlson will win the Norris this year, but he probably shouldn't have.

i'd take the Eriksson deal, it's quite a steal for the Canucks. I've seen so many trades where it's a 2020 1st + demko + gadjo + eriksson for a late pick, seeing that seems quite easy to accept, IMO.

I see what you mean. I do think that Dubois has Selke potential.

the definitive top 3 per position
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AFOX10900</b></div><div>there were a few other really good options, he's the best player on CBJ, so I chose him (also hot takes) and with the LHD I couldn't think of any guys who were just a clear step above, Ekholm, eh, Slavin, after last year, probably, after this year, meh, Gio, same as Slavin etc</div></div>
I'm personally a big Ekholm guy, but he had a bit of a "meh" year in 2020, with Josi mainly taking the spotlight. Still very underrated to the league, IMO. A candite of mine would be Hedman.
Bjorkstrand really took a big step this year, but I still think he has yet to prove himself as the clear-cut best player. Jones is still quite far ahead, but Bjork's got some potential.

Lundell is good and all, but his lack of offensive upside is a bit concerning. And I'm a big fan of Finnish prospects. I say try getting Hertl, or just get Holtz just 'cause.

IMO it should go to Panarin, but it'll go to Draisaitl because the NHL is always biased to point totals. Same goes with the Norris, Josi is going to be robbed.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>TMLSage</b></div><div>There is no way Benning is taking Zaitsev. Canucks need to make room for Rafferty and Juolevi so no room for Zaitsev. Canucks will offer up some younger prospects to get a deal done or else just send both of these guys to minors and eat their contracts and cap implications. Eriksson actually played decent this year when inserted into the lineup.</div></div>
He wasn't bad by any means, but there were some games where his play was just unwatchable. If we had to add in a first or some good prospects to get him moved, I'd probably pass and just eat the salary, but the big problem is the upcoming Pettersson and Hughes contracts. And yeah, we can get them to bridge deals, but Benning decided to sign some more horrible contracts, taking up about 10M (or more) in our cap.

I'd say the TBL one looks like it's in favour of the Lightning, but that's just me because I think that Lindholm is a better defenseman than Sergachev. And I also like Larsson much better than a third.

Buffalo Blowup w Cole Perfetti
Simmonds is not worth 4M, at least not anymore. That Montour contract should be given to Reinhart instead, wit some adjustments (6x6.75). And no, Flordia decline, they're not exactly looking to take 5.5M in cap while they're trying to resign their wingers, especially when they have to give up a (somewhat) prospect and high picks.
