<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>irishbreadman</b></div><div>the talent is there but I worry about the physicality of the team with so many skill guys. especially if kreider gets moved, the team needs more physical forwards, since just having lemieux on your fourth line probably won't cut it. I don't want them turning into the maple leafs</div></div>
they drafted physical and can address that moving fwd. talent hardest thing to find. but with 3 d lines possible having: kandre, trouba, lindgren and schneider...thats some size and grit right there. (thats also why u keep kreider imo and lemieux is also a nice pc moving fwd. gauthier is also a strong strong dude and can possibly play with more edge as he becomes more comfortable.

cap solution
Rick Nash is a stud. Rick Nash is a bust. Rick Nash is injury prone. Rick Nash is underrated. Rick Nash hates Rick Nash. Rick Nash loves Rick Nash. The line of Nash-Nash-Nash is better than the Nash-Nash-Nash line. Hopefully Rick Nash can be the stud goalie he's projected to be. But the Nash-Nash defense pairing is elite.

I'd probably start Rick Nash in goal instead of Rick Nash -- but other than that this looks good.

I envy these teams tbh. They are configured so poorly and actually had cup aspirations.

This team gives me the most regret from the core that almost got there but didnt. That Ottawa team was on fire but so beatable, Pittsburgh was the worst team to win a cup in a generation that year and nashville was an injury riddled disaster. If AV doesnt keep running Staal/Girardi/Holden out late but just ran Skjei, Smith and McDonagh, and they dont blow like 16 leads that series late, I think they know how to get past pittsburgh and then can beat a very banged up and out of gas Nashville team. Ugh. This is the one that got away.

I don’t think it’s bad, i just think you have to further define the list. Hart trophy has become pretty darn close to “best fantasy player.”

I think it’s to the point where it’s impossible to make “top,” lists. It kinda has to skew to top all around, top offensive, or top defensive.
This looks like a, “top 15 NHL fantasy players,” list to me. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but when it comes to winning tough hockey games, its pretty clear to me that elite two way d men are the most important asset in the game, and you’ve only got two of them on here.

I think people are pre-emptively adding him to lists like these because he's young, fun to watch, and should be here eventually, but he's not there yet imo</div></div>
Sid #4 behind Leon, Connor, and Nathan

They will go over the 10% cap limit to sign Barzal and then trade, Boychuck, Kormarov, Hickey or Clutterbuck. They can als put Ladd on LITTR this year if he does not pass physical.
seems like a bride deal 7.0-7.5 X 3 years for Barzal. But this does ward off offersheet bc. isles can match

Buffalo will not trade Eichel unless it gets publicly ugly. Demands a trade and makes it well-known.
He's the face of their franchise and they haven't had a true star player in a while. He is the absolute last player or asset they should trade.
I'm so sick and tired of people thinking Eichel can be had for some package involving a combination of Kravtsov, Deangelo and a 1st.
Buffalo will want someone good enough to replace Eichel or come damn near close to it, as well as other pieces. Someone like Kakko or Shesterkin.

Though most ACGMs on here unrealistically believe they can get one of Laf/Kakko/Fox in exchange for just about any and every top 6 center, I believe Eichel is probably one of the few who would require such a return. I wouldn't be surprised if the deal that was being discussed (as per Bob McKenzie a while back) centered around Kakko's inclusion in a package, and Gorton hung up the phone (as he should). Unfortunately, and fairly, might I add, Kakko would probably have to go the other way, in addition to several other assets.

Once again that doesn't get Jack Eichel, And Eichel to the Rangers isn't happening without Kakko being involved.

REALLY hope they submit an OS for Sergachev. I used to think they should go after Cirelli, now I'd rather Sergachev. We need LD (Miller is still probably at least a half a season away and Lindgren is probably going to end up a 3rd pair D in the long run).

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>irishbreadman</b></div><div>I like Nylander as well but we should probably focus on LD and C since that's where we need the most help right now. Not sure more wingers is what we need with Panarin, Buch, Kreider, Kakko, Lafreniere, and potentially Kravtsov in the mix. I'd personally put more emphasis on getting Trouba a more permanent partner, keep Lindgren and Fox together, and see what Tony D can do with the anchor that is Jack Johnson. Also, it remains to be seen if Strome or Chytil can handle 2C with Panarin</div></div>
Nylander can play C. Not to mention how he's developing his defensive game.
