rangers so I can feel bad about myself. also didn't palmieri already show up under TBL draft picks? or did they both trade the same pick?

Case in point why you don’t trade picks, be patient and smart people best teams trade guys not thin their core for picks and prospects!

This is an awesome activity. Really goes to show how San Jose should be taking a step back and using their draft picks every now and again haha! I know Filip Forsberg would come up for the Avs, That's all I can think of right now.

They traded a lot of first round draft picks throughout their history, not great considering how old and injured they are now

The truth is at the end of the day in their 30 year history they have been legit cup contenders for 1/3 of their time in the leauge and a playoff team 3/4 of the Time in the leauge with a lot of really good players. So we can’t hate on their tactics too much. That being said I replay prefer building through the draft and minors and supplementing little here and there.
