A discussion
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>j_cash08</b></div><div>I feel like at this point by the 2021-22 season I think the hope is that Studnika will be developed into a strong top 6 center, while Bergy will decline I don't think that he drops out of being a top 6 center at this point along with Coyle IMO capable of playing as a top 6 center. That Being said should they go Studnika - Coyle - Bergy down the middle I believe that although they do not have a bonifide #1 center they will be very competitive and deep. Bergy's defensive abilitys will not change IMO. I think That his offensive capabilities will decline but the hope is that Studnika will be able to take the brunt of that.
Furthermore down the road, say 2022-23 or 23-24 I think the Hope will be that Beecher will pan out and Studnika may be able to prove himself as a strong #1 two way center while Boston's lines would look similar to...
Debrusk- Studnika - Pasta
Marchand - Coyle - Kase
Bjork - Beehcer - Khulman
4LW-4C-4RW
Whether this pans out remains to be seen. Like you said nobody can predict the future but I do believe this is Boston's plan.</div></div>
Well Said! Idk I think Studnicka is good! but i would have been put on a stake if i had him as the number 1 guy lol
Dont forget Senyshyn, in his 4 games this year he looked really good. I know he isnt great at the AHL level but give him another two years and I think he can be a good scrappy middle 6 guy

Opening Night
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>j_cash08</b></div><div>I don't really see where Studnika will fit into the lineup at this point. Bergeron, Krejci, Coyle down the middle and I don't really see the purpose of moving him to the wing unless it's a necessity. So, unless Kase really doesn't play well, and gets moved again I don't see the point. The B's look better with Coyle at center rather than on the wing. I would much rather him playing 18 mins a night in Providence than 10 in Boston. My guess is that he'll start next season in Providence, and will eventually work his way into the lineup due to injury's and what not.</div></div>
I think we could see Coyle shift back to RW next year. If you look at the advanced numbers, Krejci has some of his best metrics playing with Coyle. They could also move him to 3RW along side Studnicka. That way Stud's as an on ice mentor
Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
DeBrusk - Krejci - Coyle
Bjork - Studnicka - Kase
Ritchie - Kuraly - Wagner

Barzal can be had
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DiehardRedWingsFan58</b></div><div>:laugh Yeah in what world would Minny give up a 1st for that Krejci contract?</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>villenash</b></div><div>What team would trade a 2020 1st for a 34 year old center with a $7m+ cap-hit with only one year remaining on his deal. A deal like this may happen closer to the trade deadline, but it is not a summertime deal. You'd have to lower expectations on a return for Krejci or retain some salary if you want to trade him in the summer. The only teams that would want Krejci would be contending teams, and they tend to have little cap space.
Krejci would actually look pretty great on the Avs for 2021 year - they have the cap and wouldn't need to worry about him being on the books next year. Or if he is, it would be at a much reduced salary.</div></div>
No the wild (or any contender) would do that in a heartbeat at the TDL.
But its the bruins who decline ehre. Krejci makes players around him better, and puts up 1st line points as a second liner with 3rd line wingers all the time lol.

Teams have given up firsts for a lot worst LOL. Also not sure why you think his contract is bad. Market value at this point.</div></div>
Only problem, Minnesota isn't a contender.

Agreed that studnicka is ready. Gambling the last couple years of the bergeron/marchand window on rookies while removing the teams two leading scorers outside of the top line is just, well, stupid.

again if he hits the open market yes. If he resigns, he will not make more than bergeron.
