Duchene Trade
I don't think the Senators would get more then this. They made a terrible trade to the Avs, but that doesn't mean other teams will give them more for Duchene. Plus he only has one year left on his contract so they'd just lose him to free agency anyways.

I am not a fan of Duchene, but it seems fair.</div></div>
Do you know if OTT is one of the 8 teams he can't be traded to? Wouldn't be surprised lol

Tavares Trade

Frederic is a top prospect, and Backes has good leadership.
But If St. Louis countered with Bjork instead of Frederic, I'd take that.

"There may be a maximum of 23 players on each Club's playing roster at any one time from the commencement of the NHL regular season through the trade deadline. Prior to the start of the season, each Club must submit to the NHL its 'Opening Day Playing Roster' which shall be comprised of not more than 23 players. Each Club must have a roster of at least 20 players, composed of 18 skaters and two goaltenders. Players on Injured Reserve do not count in the 23-man limit."

No major moves
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tank0r</b></div><div>Hopefully Pasta ends up cheaper than that. If you're looking at a "salary dump" trade swap in Beleskey over Miller instead of buying him out. A Beleskey buyout would count against the cap for 6 years (double the remaining 3 years that are left on his deal). McClement isn't needed as we have more than enough guys who can plug into the 4th line.</div></div>
I honestly think Pasta will be expensive. He put up 70 points this year and was a major factor getting the Bruins back into the playoffs. Unless they give him some sort of bridge contract before signing a long term deal, I think he will be atleast 7 mil if not more. Look at Krejci's contract, Pasta is more valuable then him.
And for McClement, he's a player who's good defensively especially pk, and could add a veteran presence to a possibly very young bottom six. Also he'd be cheap.
good point about Beleskey

Boston
Dont know if Van Riemsdyk trade is that good. I think it would take more than O'Gara and Spooner to cut a deal. Also you would lose a descent defense prospect in return for a player on the final year of his contract
