I don't see Krug waiving to go to OTT right now.

I am not a fan of Duchene, but it seems fair.

Do you know if OTT is one of the 8 teams he can't be traded to? Wouldn't be surprised lol

After the price they paid for Duchene I don’t think Krug gets it done alone. Also don’t see Ottawa going after roster players when they trade him, most likely aiming for picks and prospects

I don't know. Ottawa (melnyk) seems rather toxic right now, and a few years from competing. They are in a really tough division and Krug is super competitive, Also being Karlsson's replacement would not really be an enviable person/place to be. I am making a lot of assumptions, but if I were him, they would be on my list. Things change fast though, A year ago - Ottawa was looking real promising.

I think this is a fair deal but Ottawa will probably want more for damage control after trading so much to get Duchene.
Also Krug probably won't waive for Ottawa.

I don't think the Senators would get more then this. They made a terrible trade to the Avs, but that doesn't mean other teams will give them more for Duchene. Plus he only has one year left on his contract so they'd just lose him to free agency anyways.

I agree on the picks and prospects but OTT overpaid and can't expect other teams to overpay for him to. His value is determined in the competitive market, not what a team paid for him be it high or low.
