I think Vegas would be asking for a little bit more. You're close but if Fleury is being shopped around, I would say they're getting more intriguing offers.

IMO, it's too early to judge, it's a very young season, I would love to see these numbers stay this way (aside from the offense) but it's just not realistic, and I would also like to correct myself, Carlo is also a player that could be a key part of this defensive for going into the future.

I’ll cut to the point: Rask said a couple years ago that his contract ended in a couple years, so who knows if he would play beyond that. It was a joke. Morons ran wild with it. The notion of Rask probably leaving around 18 million on the table is truly horrifically stupid. Like, darwinism has left us type stupid.
Could he retire? Sure. Any player could retire at any time. Rask has been very clear that he’ll play if he’s still good. Is a vezina finalist good?[/quote
Okay I see no more point to this conversation as you're just being aggressive at this point, calm down it's cap friendly.</div></div>

Okay Rask is one of the best goalies in the league, in fact he's one of my favorite players. But despite him saying that, we could see another Crawford situation but just not as out of the blue.

It's a sad truth aswell that we have to rebuild soon, but if we start now we can pull off a Rangers esk retool.</div></div>
I also think Beecher gets into the lineup over Wagner but that's just my opinion

as much as i would love this, tampa wouldn't accept this. mcdonagh is still a really good defenseman, boston would have to give up more. i love the thought tho!

Weird series of moves</div></div>
my thought process is they have to make room for byram to come in and I thought cole was the odd one out. They move cole to get cap space, open a spot for Byram (who again, much lower cap hit) Then (assuming Hoffman will accept 5mil) they sign him one year to go all the way this year before they have to resign big names

Get him
See the problem with this is that you are essentially trading away our future... We barely had a future to begin with but with this we have virtually no prospects. I'm a Bruins fan and I say no. What we really need to do is tank/rebuild for top draft picks. They have one maybe two seasons left with this core. After this upcoming season, build around Pasta and get future assets.

Offersheet for a 1C
I would say no, although yes, they need that number 1 centre, you also need the cap space to resign guys like tkachuk, stuztle when his elc is up. If I'm Ottawa, one of the last things I want to do is spend 10mil on a player. On top of that, you also signed Vatanen... I think this is rushing things too much and I just don't think it's a good idea

This makes the Ducks better. I think Johnson might waive. It would take some convincing but I think he would. With this, the Ducks have a better chance of taking a wild card spot. If they don't, now they still have two first round picks for next year.

Yes, 30-40 goal scorer in the making, and that's just the best case scenario. As of right now he still has a lot to prove and has no NHL experience. I agree it is a stretch to pick him up but if he was on my team, I would start him on my fourth line until he proves he's worth it to put him in my top 6.

In my opinion they don't have a run left in them. I think they need to start focusing on the future rather than the present. Or at least a retool on the fly.
