Halak is listed at 5’11” as well. I think he’s closer to 5’9” then 5’11”!

If you think Poolparty is worth that much you’re crazy. There’s no way someone like Ylonen is included in that trade. With all the picks we have I think Poolparty might be worth the gamble but I’m not giving away any prospects to get him. Late 2nd a 4th and whatever prospect they want out of McShane, Houde or Fonstaf

If there’s some no first rounders rule, i get it, but if not, Pastrnak at 25 is a pretty big steal.

I’m glad Dahlin isn’t on the list. He’s the forgotten offensive defenseman out of the Makar and Hughes talk.

Nhl players who didnt live up to the hype
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>meno9305</b></div><div>facts, i feel the Sens scrapped the kid, they put him in a 4th liner role and he was more of a skilled player</div></div>
The bigger issue was that they rushed him to the show in the first place. As amazing and special that Hamburglar run was, and he was obviously a big part of what made it awesome, he should have spent at least one full season, probably even a season and a half in the AHL.
That said, the Sens managed to turn Lazar into Alex Formenton, and Curty seems to have found a home in Buffalo, so everything seems to have worked out in the end.

Look at is stats! Excepted this year he have always been a 45-55 point players. That not bad at all in NhL the facts that you had big expectations for him doesn’t make him a failure. Not all first round pick become super star. He have already register over 300 point at the age of 26 that quite good.

There’s something going on off the ice that hasn’t been reported - based on his play he should be a regular on the isles. His underlying numbers are great

LETS TRY TO UPGRADE THE JACKETS dont attack me plz
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Richard88</b></div><div>Columbus should really be looking to rebuild, or at least retool. They have a solid foundation to build on, including a 21 year old No.1 C and a deep group of young defenseman to build around, starting with Werenski (22).
Jones would be great to resign, but to do so you need to show him that this team can be set up to compete from 2022 onwards. Treading water until then isn't going to entice him to stay. Commit to the rebuild/retool, and if Jones doesn't want to be part of it then trade him for the best return you can get.
In the short term I'd look to get the best possible (close to NHL ready) futures returns on pending UFA's Josh Anderson, Murray, and Savard. They can probably squeeze a 1st for Savard, and like 2-3 2nd's and a couple of prospects for Anderson/Murray.</div></div>
To build on that, here's an AGM I just made to show what going all-in on a rebuild would look like for Columbus: <a href="https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/1737339">https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/1737339</a>

Without retention, probably a quantity package similar to Ottawa got for Jason Spezza at the time he was older. A top 9 roster player + 2 meh to medium prospects and a 2nd rounder

Well... where to start... about why does Columbus make half these moves and you’re cap is way to high try closer to 84-85, not 88.5.
-Wennberg will be gone by this point, he’s not playing well and we have others better for a 3rd line center at cheaper rates.
- Anderson will be gone by this point, he seems to not want to play in Columbus anymore and wants a top 6 role, and he won’t get that in Columbus.
-Murray is just pointless to sign, let him walk.
-Gustfsson is pointless to sign with Gavrikov and Nuttivaara and Peeke.
-the LA trade is a waste for Columbus. We don’t need Roy with Peeke. Kukan is a sold 3rd pair guy.
-Pittsburgh Trade is probably the worst trade. Nyquist is a top 6 forward and we trade him for a 4th liner we have plenty of..
-I do like the Gusev signing. That being said I doubt he signs in Columbus, he will get better offers else where.
-last note is your lines are crazy messed up, why is Texier on the 4th line, he’s a top 6 wing and Wennberg on the 2nd line is gross, and please put the defenseman on the correct sides.
