I'd rather keep our popcorn than have that swiss cheese. btw I actually watch B's game so I have seen him play full game and not just highlights. Have you seen the canucks play?</div></div>
Wow.
Wow.
I didn't watch them lose tonight; no. But have seen many of the other "L's" this season and over the 51-previous seasons.
No prob Pas, cause as I said B's pass - <em>no sale.</em>
PS: Van could of used Cliffy's sick mitts the other night when he tagged Abue-Kubel - but that's not Van's style of play...

Colorado, Carolina, Tampa, to name a few. Not to mention they have good defense as well

Loui and Michael
HAHAHAHA! Totally hilariousness. So you think you are getting a first for Anisimov when, regardless of what propaganda TSN tells you, this team may not even get a 1st for Pageau. Don't kid yourself about including Erickson in this deal. That's not enough of a reason to throw out a 1st for a player with term left on a deal. Don't mistake the Leafs' situation with Marleau as the same situation in Vancouver with Erickson. The Canucks should have enough salary cap space next year that should definitely not have to give up a 1st to get rid of him like that.

Canadiens with Aho Matheson Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pasha123</b></div><div>Carolina will match, it doesn't matter about the upfront bonuses, it's just more of an annoyance. Philly tried to do this with Shea Weber and Nashville 7 yrs ago, with all of the bonus upfront. Nashville matched, so will Carolina. This is perfect for Aho in 5 years he will be UFA and only 26 and will get a big close to max contract then</div></div>
Even Colorado was bankrupt years ago and got sponsor money to help. Funds will always be there. You are right it's just an annoyance

Blockbuster Trade With Winnipeg
Brutal trade for the Jets.
An elite Taylor Hall that's getting old and walking in a season, same goes for Vatanen.
This trade is terribly slanted in the Devils favor.

Just some small things, but I don't see us signing Stralman when we can just use Poolman, and Niku should be starting next year, so one of Chiarot/Beaulieu shouldn't be re-signed. Morrow should be resigned instead of one of those two to be depth. I also don't see us signing Chiasson when we can just use Appleton.

Would NJD do this for 1st overall
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>pasha123</b></div><div>I would trade Matthews for Pettersson and either 10th or Juolevi but then agian I wouldn't trade Pettersson ... yes Jack is getting same pre draft talk as Matthews that Pettersson didn't but this year Pettersson has been getting that talk to Matthews as a franchise player. The talk on Pettersson pre draft was his weight for his hight, the talk was that if his weight was more in line to his height he would have been the consensus 1st pick.</div></div>
Fine. You love Pettersson. I get it. I'm not saying that you shouldn't. I hope he and Marner and Barzal and Aho all get elected to the Hall of Fame. But if a Toronto GM traded Matthews for Pettersson and the 10th overall pick, the next job he would get in hockey -- <strong>anywhere</strong> -- would be as arena janitor.

You want a second in a year and a 3rd in two years to take on the worst contract in hockey? That contract is sooooo bad.
Ottawa would be a lot smarter to just sign a UFA to like 1 million more than they're worth to reach the cap floor than take on another terrible contract.

Brown though has shown more than Gauthier too, he would flourish in LA with the extra playing time that he would get from the lose of Kempe. With all the right-handed forwards we already have, two more is one too many.

Didn't realize Sheifele could potentially walk as a UFA this summer? Last time I checked he was on one of the best contracts in the entire league. It's a different situation. An extended Duchene would cost ALOT more.

^This. The Canucks are going to suck the next couple years, so might as well retain the #7 and draft a solid Dman like Dobson instead of hemorrhaging even more assets for the future.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ragsandbluesfan</b></div><div>Petterson wont be a top 5 C what the hell are you talking about</div></div>
Petterson just set the all time SHL record for points by an underaged player...oh and he also LED the SHL in points. That may not be top five in a few years but it certainly projects in that direction. Vancouver is not trading Petterson but Carolina may trade Hanafin despite the title of this mock team.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMTD</b></div><div>IMO if you take Hanifin out of that trade it is a fair exchange of talent.
Pettersson, E > McGinn, B
Gudbranson, E = 2018 4th round pick (ARI)
Del Zotto, M = Rask, V.
Carolina would have to add a little.</div></div>
You're kidding right? This trade would be fair if Car (while adding Hanifin) add Necas and their first next year... I'm not even a Van fan. Petterson is going to be a top5 Center in the league in a couple of years... Hanifin has never reach 40 pts in a season even if he is considered as an offensive Dmen.
