Bruins ideas
The whole reason why we would be trading for Grzelcyk is because we have only 2 NHL-qualified LhDs on the roster for next season, so it would be peculiar to trade one of them for Grzelcyk; it seems to me that that's the definition of "two steps forward, one step backward."

Bruins ideas
Florida has slightly over $11,000,000 to sign 8 players or so. They don't have the cap space to fit Halls $6,000,000 per without moving out one of Bennett or Reinhart Florida is in no position to give up prospects for expensive players. it needs to be money in money out.

Idk about that. They'd save cap space and would open up the 3LW spot for Foligno to go back to his normal position. Gurianov QO is also going to be much lower than DeBrusk. Rather it be 1 for 1, but its not a bad offer

wait really? i was about to go in and edit this thinking that this QO makes it a fleece for the Bruins.

Probably not far off. And it will be another wasted season.
I hate the Yandle signing. Rather Reilly, if you think Reilly plays soft wait til you see Yandle, makes Reilly look like Ryan Reeves.

Not realistic
I absolutely love this, Ryan Suter would fit perfect with Boston. Antti Raanta as a "backup" is a great decision for when Tukka goes down again. Also Glendenning fits perfect on the 4th. Great job.

Maybe Bruins
Foegele wants top 6 TOI, it's why he wants out. He won't sign to be put on the 4th line.
As for his value, the asking price is rumored to be a 2nd (which I personally think is fair)

We're not adding a second-round pick to Iafallo unless somebody much, much better than DeBrusk is coming back. To put it another way, we can get a much better return for him elsewhere without sending the draft pick.

Don't think Boston is trading a cost controlled player for this UFA and don't thing LA is trading draft picks WITH Iafallo in a trade. A team trading for Iafallo is likely making a Cup push so you won't be getting a much, much better player or even one as good as DeBrusk coming back from them. A better return than DeBrusk is likely prospects, draft picks. What is the rumor?

Agree with all five of the points you make here. My understanding is that we would trade Iafallo only if we're getting a prospect plus a first- or second-round pick (depending upon the quality of the prospect). Otherwise, we'll just try to sign him in the off-season, even at the cost of letting him walk.

I don't know Lohrei that well but based on what I've seen from a quick Google search I don't think NJ accepts. Probably have to switch Lohrei with Vaakanainen and/or change one of the seconds to a first. I know that's a big return but Wood, who has always been popular, has been a legitimately good all around player for NJ this year and they value him greatly. They'd have to be blown away to move him.
Murray alone is probably an easier/more realistic trade to make. Probably a 2nd or a mid-level prospect. Depending on market could be a bit lower like a 3rd or maybe a 4th.

Krejci untradeable? I'm sorry, but if you're going to make comments like this, at least have an idea of what you're talking about. He's far from untradeable.
And Sure, Calgary can sign Reimer over trading for Rask, but they're not getting the better goalie. Rask >>>> Reimer.
