Love Grizz and think hes developing into a slightly lesser Krug but havent really thought about how much Grizz should get, whats your reasoning behind getting more than 2.5??

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jcash08</b></div><div>He may be ready, but if he gets into the lineup chances are it is on the wing, which takes away from his development at center and there is no reason to rush him into playing early. He is used to playing against 19-20 year old's and having a 200 pound middle aged defenseman barrelling down on him is uncommon to him. Statistically speaking most forwards could use a year in the minors to develop in the first place, rushing it tends to ruin their confidence.</div></div>
I don't really think it hurt Bergeron's development to break into the league as a winger. Kind of commonplace, as is a stud forward skipping out on the AHL.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jcash08</b></div><div>Boston's issue is there 2nd and 3rd line right wing. They have Marchand, Debrusk and Heinen down the left side. Bergeron, Krejci, Coyle down the middle but only Pasta on the right side. Both Donskoi and Dzingel are right shot wingers which would fill the right side for Boston. I don't think that they could get both of them but if your second right wing was Dzingel and third Kulman I think it would make Boston a better team filling the right side void and Cassidy doesn't like having players play their off wing.
That being said the way Johansen is playing with that third line the way it is I'd be fine keeping it like that, I just think they would be better off getting a right handed winger.
In terms of Studnika, he isn't a heavy player that I think could use time in the minors to get used to playing bigger opponents.</div></div>
what makes you think he isn't heavy? Literally every time i see team canada's coach asked about him, right after a 5 point night when he had the game winner, the first 6 sentences are about how great he is defensively. Every time Bob McKenzie covers a team canada game where studnicka plays, the first thing he says is, "Jack Studnicka was the best player on the ice." The kid is ready.

I would try to keep stud as a natural center to not end up stunting his growth

I feel like Boston would be better off signing someone like Ryan Dzingel or Joonas Donskoi as they can fill a 2nd or 3rd line right wing spot.
Also I think Jack Studnicka will need a year in the AHL as a first year pro.

With Studddddd
We'll see, but players get called up all the time during the playoffs once their AHL team is eliminated. Kyle Keyser was with Boston last year during their playoff run, but it was just to practice with the team.
IF Studnicka made his way into the line-up though...
Marchand - Bergeron - Heinen
DeBrusk - Krejci - Pastrnak
Johansson - Coyle - Studnicka
^That's your top 9
