Anisimov has a worse relative Corsi, but better goals for and against per 60 and PPG than Burakovsky. He's scoring just under his career rate this year. I think with some salary retained and maybe drop the pick from a 2nd to a 3rd, or kick it to 2020, this could be a good trade for both sides. Russian connection could help too, if Anisimov can play some RW.

I'd just say no to Anisimov anyways. I don't think the Caps should go after players with term, considering the next two off-seasons will have high value assets requiring new contracts.
