Description

As the roster is currently constructed, the CBJ are not a Stanley Cup contender. Bread and Bob have made it clear that they have no intention of re-signing. It's time to move them for parts to help the team for the future, while still remaining competitive this year with goal of a playoff appearance. CBJ's biggest need is down the middle and adding Brassard (who would be offered an extension) and Schenn would be huge for the team, and help offset the loss of Panarin.

You can definitely get more for Bob than a goalie on a bad contract and an underperforming rental. Getting way to much for Panarin. I'd think CBJ would have to add on the Schenn trade just because Wennberg hasn't been preforming up to his long contract as of now, maybe just retain salary then

Great trade for CBJ in the NSH deal. I dont think Preds would give that much up for a rental. Bobrovsky trade CBJ is getting ripped off they could def get more than those scraps

Dang, tough situation with Panarin. It's not that I don't think you are asking for too much out of Nashville, I just think it will be tough to find a team that's willing to give up that much for a player on an expiring contract. I am sure something will get done, but risky moves by the teams vouching for him. Will definitely be interesting the next few weeks

Florida would love that deal, just to rid themselves of Reimer's contract. Why would CBJ want to extend Brassaard? Gotta be better value out next summer. Bob's a difficult trade. Unless a contender needs a goalie, no team would pay much for his upcoming UFA. And Bob's career one playoff round win, doesn't scream "I need this guy as my playoff goalie"
