RD = Right Handed Defenseman. So he plays right side. Just to be sure : RD = Droitier alors il est un defenseur droitier, donc joue a droite et non a gauche. We dont need RD or RHD means the same thing. ouf

MTL declines

Brook > both LAK aging players

Toffoli is good but lets be honest would you rather 45-55 points for 2-3 years or a PP leader like Brook in MTL for 7 years and putting up 10-15 points less but playing 4-6 minutes more a night in a bigger role long term as Weber's Protege ?

like MB i'm not willing to dump assets for short term and unless i can get Toffoli for a 2nd , NHL prospect and a Development prospect then i'm not interested as he's not that good as witnessed his entire Career without a top possesion center like Carter there winning 55% faceoffs his production declines hard . Each time Carters gone done Toffoli's been a ghost so given MTL is 30th in NHL Faceoffs overpaying for Toffoli would be as smart as signing Alzner long term

Martinez is a Left shot. He plays RD in LA, but it is his off side.

Jesus this trade is awful for LA.

Hudon is bad. Alzner is a worse version of Phaneuf with nearly as bad of a contract. Evans and Brook aren't high-end prospects. Brook is the better of the two, but he comes in behind Mikey Anderson, Kale Clague, and Sean Durzi on the Kings defensive prospect list.

The Kings wouldn't immediately hang up the phone if you upgraded one of the 2nd round picks to a 1st and removed Alzner from the trade. Otherwise Blake tells Bergevin to lose his number.
