Description

Killorn Gourde Palat Johnson still have value. Theyre not Tampa's best forwards but theyre still top 6 guys for most teams in then league. Factor in the expansion draft and Tampa will be ok.
"Teams arent just gonna help Tampa out of cap hell" no they wont. But adding a top 6 forward for below market value is probably appealing to most nhl gms.

This isn't even resigning guys like Joseph and Erne who Tampa can move out for picks/younger prospects.
Tampa is gonna lose good players cheap. But theyre still built to be competitive for some time.

Killorn, Palat and Johnson all have NTCs. Doubtful if they are willing to be traded right now. If a few years when they have modified NTCs maybe they can be traded.

This is 20/21. Plus if theyre losing playing timw because theyre on the 3rd line, no powerplay time etc they maybe more likely to waive. Not saying they're all gonna get moved but if its a better career move for them. Its not as drastic as people keep saying. They're in a much better position than teams like the Blackhawks or Detroit capwise.
