Description

Draft Jack Hughes - to be the 1B centre.
Resign Rantanen at $11 M over 8 years (get it at 11 because of structure, signing bonuses, etc)
Bring up Kraut, Timmins, O’Connor.
Sign Dzingel - getting a good 3 year deal to play on Hughes wing (get M-NTC) - feel $4.5 M is good for a one year break out but show me I’m wrong.
Sign Gardiner at $6 M - comes home to the US.
Finally, bring in a strong started - Lehner not elite but proven himself in NYi.

Leaves $20 M for 20-21, another $20 M for 21-22 as they young and soon to be FA come to market.

Lehner for $4.5 M a dream? Dzingel wants more and longer instead of being a scorer with an elite C? Gardiner worth more (really?). Let me know

I do not think Gardiner is worth $6 mill but he will probably get it, if not more.

Gotta win the draft lottery to get Hughes and do you think he immediately slots in as a top 6 C? That is a tough ask for an 18 year old in a tough division

$11 may even be a little high for Rantanen in my opinion but he obviously has some great numbers so we will see.

Damn does that Mackinnon contract ever look amazing

Why would we spend $6M on a LHD when we already have Girard/Zadorov/Cole? That money would be better used on a UFA forward. And dude, where's Makar? Also a bit low on the Kerfoot signing imo
