If you trade Marleau and Nylander, who will take over the 3C spot next playoffs once Kadri gets suspended?

No body touches zaitsev, especially not a cap tight team like edm.. Karlsson turned down more money than that already, and with the exception of marner your RFA signings are to low

I read a report that Karlsson is basically being kept together by shear will, may not be worth that next year

I don'y understand why people keep thinking Kapanen and Johnsson are going to sign well below market value for multiple year deals! Most teams will be willing to offer sheet both of them for double that!

I find it very disingenuous that you sport a leafs avatar being an Edmonton fan who just likes to troll.

Zaitsev is certainly not bad at hockey but with his contract we are certainly not getting a 2nd back.

Other than that the trades seem reasonable. The only way markeau is moved is if he retires.

I will point out one thing, that defence is very good at offence... and little else.
