Yikes that is a whole lot of bad contract in that trade, both ways, seems possible though, I’d say Detroit declines but maybe not if the think turris will rebound

This could actually be a really smart move both ways if the rumors that NSH is looking to move Subban are true as well... They can get a relatively cheap veteran dman (with Stanley Cup rings) to fill in depth on D, slot Helm in as their 4th line center and PKer and then use Subban to get a top line right winger that they desperately need...

EDIT - I didn't realize Turris still had that many years left on his deal, yikes... Makes it less intriguing now than when I thought it was for 3 years...
