I was one of the proposers of that but Marleau being bought out is out of window for now due to sole reason of him having his bonuses paid in two separated dates (on july 1st and december date) and that buyout window ends day before first part is being paid. Meaning that team would pay almost 4mil of actual money and it would cost more than you have here soo.. no.

Few good things. I think more issues

1. Marner is not getting 10.5. He is good but not better than Kucherov, and his comparable, Brayden point who plays center is now rumored at 8.2 Low 9's, High 8s?
2. You will not be able to trade Marleau. Hey Patty do you want to waive your NMC to go to the last place team in the league, move your family of 4 kids yet again and have no chance in winning a cup in which it may be your last year to event attempt it?... pretty sure he says no.
3. I think you can get more for Ziatsev. He isnt that great but Old Boys club and good hockey men seem to like him. Maybe a bit more but eh.
4. Colin miller may work, i would like him on the team.
5. Personally and based on stats Pesces i dont think is that good. He is a 2nd pair, maybe 3rd pair D and with all the leafs good D coming up I dont want to waste a roster spot on a guy who probably wont move the needle at all. And I like Mango so it would hurt my feelings.

So, the Marleau buy out costs 3.833 million dollars. Non starter. Pesce is worth about 40 times what you’re offering

Maybe don’t base shut down d men’s value on how many goals they have? Just a thought

Oh its overall performance and general ability, if you were confused. Still dont think hes worth the caphit, price or the term.
