Sorry - the Carolina trade doesn’t even get a second conversation. What issue does this solve for the Canes? Is Quick (and his contract) better than some sort of combo of Mrazek Mac and Ned? Not for me...

Pretty sure CAR would be better off with Quick as their goalie (especially in the playoffs) than those 2

I partially agree with you, the trade is bad. getting rid of Pesce hurts our D and takes away a big part of what got us so deep in the playoffs.
It's not gonna happen

However, Quick is a clear upgrade for us. Mrazk had a great season, but one great season doesn't make a great goalie. And Quick with mac or Quick/Ned would be nice

If this trade could happen for Picks and Prospects I would definitely welcome Quick.
Then move Faulk for a forward like Zucker or JT miller and look at how dangerous our team looks

We are giving them a good starter and was just top 5 goalies for the past 5 years or so (with the exception of last year) and not only that but retaining salary on Forbort as well. Dont think so. Everybody undervalues Quick and it makes me sick.
